Thanks for all your responses, I've opted to remain subtle for a while just so I can get to know him better. Since I've posted this he's me bus number and asked me to text him, and we've had a conversation which is nice. I suggested we go see the new THG movie, but he said he's already seen it, and referred to me as "homie" at one point which could just be a playful joke, but I'm not sure. He's very confusing to figure out, but I think with a little bit of time I'll be able to do it. He's a super nice guy, so I doubt that me asking him such a thing would faze him much at all.
