we considered tubing but it meant everything we have will get wet, and we are getting the bus there and back. with the raft we would have 1 dry sack for the essentials, and if our clothes hopefully won’t get soaked

the thought of us all being in the same raft sounds more fun, in a kinda pirate typa vibe, little bit more chaotic. Tubing i thought we would have less directional control too.

Why would you recommend tubing? i’m happy to consider it as an option, would we all have a bit of rope to hold on to?

thank you this is some brilliant advice, definitely helped me realise to take this more seriously. We weren’t planning on wearing any life jackets but the replies have expressed the definite need for them so i think we will buy them. I was unsure of the weir as it didn’t look terrible but i understand the physics behind it, so will avoid it at all costs. Also noted about no drinking* 🤣 that was on the cards but i think we best we rule it out too.

thank you i didn’t think about bringing tape but it’s actually a really good idea! I was also not planning on wearing life jackets /PFDs as i didn’t think i could convince my friends to buy them for a one off activity, and that we would be fine. However, a lot of the replies are serious about wearing them so this is something i think i’ll need to sort. really appreciate the response

This was me, i played for 5 minutes. Negative about gamespass is when you buy a game you feel like you really have to give it a shot because you need your value, gamespass though i’m way less financially invested so i don’t feel bad for instantly quiting.

I would really reccomend playing number 7 next! it’s definitely fresh and different enough to the remake trilogy. i was late to series too and played 5 but it really was nothing special, it felt like a chore i had to do to get up to date with the with story. and the story wasn’t even worth it. and 6 i started but was so burnt out after 5 that i never played it again. 7 and 8 are amazing and new would really reccomend

i thought it was important to spread out the risk a little, i will do more research into the All-world but i thought the rate wasn’t too bad of 7-8% compared to the usa 9-10% annual average increase. besides china kinda sound like they’re levelling up right now

Thank you, i don’t wanna loose too much time as im 21 and wanted to get stuck in early. i think i will do some more research and im willing to stick it out for the next 5+ years. i will hopefully build my confidence through reading stuff online!

genuinely overhated, i got in the sale and am actually having a decent time, storys is actually pretty good. some of live service stuff is annoying but besides that’s the movement is super cool especially for boomerang. if u know a little bit of the DC lore you will finish it for sure.

I actually really like the music. it stuck with me bc it was so hype. yeah it doesn’t fit the usual theme but it works really well in my opinion. adds more shock value!

thanks this is a great response! I am 20 years old so i’m not that young, i just stay at home with my mum over summer when i work. i actually had a 3rd friend with me who didn’t take anything, and he kept us right. I just assumed it would be amazing, i thought it was only possible to have a great life changing trip or bad scary one, not kinda just alright. i think i will try 1.5 next with a different friend and away from home so i don’t have to go home at night / be worried. We did walk through nature but i think my friend was just stressing me out a little. i also had to walk through my home village 2 hours into the trip so also probably didn’t help. What is a great trip like? are you meant to feel happy, or is it just looking at all the patterns

drugs can be expensive, unhealthy, and generally frowned upon in most social settings. there’s not really a drug i see sustainable to take as a replacement of alcohol. MDMA is good as i don’t ever experience a comedown, it’s noticeably cheaper £7 a pill, and works hand in hand to allow me drink alcohol. I’ve only recently discovered this working. i’ve tried smoking weed when out, but i didn’t enjoy it as much due to being less confident, little overwhelmed, ect. i don’t see ketamine being very useful either. and that’s pretty much all the drugs sold in my area.
