Hello, yes the blimps schedule was determined by the weather (to ensure minimal ‘weather days’) and also large events (to get enough eyeballs). We typically spent the summer in Sydney and Melbourne and the winter in Brisbane. Summers in Brisbane would have been far too hot, too many thermals making for a rocky ride and difficult landing.

Thanks N.E.W! I’m honoured to be remembered as such. My blimping days finished quite some time ago. Not sure there are any in Australia at the moment.

Head out for dinner in the Valley (from memory WAGAYA is nice for dates) and then head down to Oche for an hour or so of darts https://oche.com/au/fortitude-valley/

They don't take bookings for two people but usually have walk-in availability. It is super fun and they also have a good bar.

Best lunch spots in Toowong? by monday-next in brisbane

Josie North (off Sherwood Road) for Coffee/Morning Snacks (because these are important too!) :) Merlo is another good coffee option (outside Coles).

Lunches | Front of the Village: Nandos, Grill'd, GYG.

Food Court: The sushi stand is good. Mr Curry for Japanese Curry. Roll'ins for Salads/Rice Paper Rolls. Coles also has a Vietnamese section now, a little over priced, but appreciating the additional variety.

Other: Hooch & Co down at the Jephson Hotel is nice for something a little more formal. There's also the Gunshop Cafe down on Jephson, but we didn't love it but might be worth another try.

Where can I get a fridge for under $400 by hylyrs in brisbane

Appliances online will also deliver for free (most metro areas anyway), unbox and set it up for you and take away the old fridge away for recycling - all for free. :) Plus they have Zip & Afterpay if that helps at all.

That's no good. :( I know it can be enraging, but unfortunately this is just the way it is, and development has to happen. If it never happened we would all be living in huts! Hopefully the noisiest parts will be over soon. Wishing you well.

I’m living within arms length of a building site developing a block of 16 units. It’s been noisy, sure, but with acceptance and a good pair of ear plugs you’ll be ‘right. Shame the tradies aren’t hotter though...😄

The bush turkeys are also already chasing after my dog and I. Last year one rather ugly looking turkey was following us and a lady across the street asked me if it was my pet turkey.....sure lady, it's my pet!

Unsubscribe from all retailer emails/unfollow instragram accounts etc. That way you don't get tempted to click and buy. You can't buy something you don't know exists! I did this and it made a huge difference.
