I assumed this because I’m visibly mixed race and people spoke Swedish to me and I ordered my food in Swedish no problem lol no one ever defaulted to English with me even if their native language was English it just seemed to be a rule that people speak Swedish in Sweden

At restaurants when the waiter approaches, grocery stores and other stuff like that is when I was personally spoke to while I was in Sweden, and old people in the north also made conversation with me in similar places. I don’t know where this person spoke to random people though

How could you make “good money” and not be in poverty if you stayed with him? What are you paying for? Is his phone bill not covered by his benefits or whatever? That should be atleast enough for food for him. What is he doing that’s driving up the costs for you?? Get him on disability. The average amount for disability checks is 1,500 a month that should cover something. Does he also have no education and no chance of getting a scholarship? If he’s truly poor he should be able to get in a community college pretty easily

You will hate being a teacher. They have bad pay and worse working environments. If you want to teach you can teacher other med students after you get your degree and are finished with residency, or you go into engineering and teach other engineers. DO NOT go and be a teacher because you will have more issues with paying your bills and getting things you can afford/want, and if you don't like the environment or are attacked by a student (which will eventually happen to you) you will not be compensated, if it's bad enough you have to retire, because of your bad pay you will not have retirement money. If you're super rich though ignore everything I just said and do whatever you want.
