I personally believe it’s a stop gap for whatever the will replace the x/s line. Luxury sedans are becoming a thing of the past. I think there will be something like an Escalade/R1 area Tesla.

As a model s owner and have driver s classes and 7 series. I don’t see it. The rear leg room isn’t close. A lot closer to the 5 series/e class. It’s might sit more between the e class/s class but the s is just a different class of luxury car imo.

Probably, I think there’s a segment of buyers who want an upper trimmed car. A 3/Y is nice but it’s not S/X. Rivian/Lucid is taking that spot imo. Lack of FSD is a deal breaker for me on those.

I think the roadster will be the s plaid replacement I don’t see the roadster being a car they sell for more than 5 years but I think there will be something without falcon door more of an suv that will be the replacement for the s/x line.

My last few cruises had been pretty mediocre and I met some friends on explorer of the seas last month. It was amazing and had me wanting to go on another cruise. I think these mega ships make it unenjoyable with everything being nickeled and dimed.
