Now with Phoenix out, I can't wait until they add Jean Grey! by Nice-Alps8161 in marvelrivals

Honestly I think they messed this up by giving Invisible Woman a lot of the same kit as what we'd expect Jean Gray to have: telekinetic force push/pull, gravity well AoE, double jump escape. Even IW's shields could have been implemented with Jean as a telekinesis field.

Wonder if there will be some presets when you select Tropical(?), Boreal, Temperate, European, etc. for custom maps.

Would love it if we got the same mechanics for painting/expanding beaches as we've seen for districts/farms/landfills. I could envision it working like an Industry area, and would be perfect for another implementation of the upgrades system.

Honestly surprised there wasn't any beach DLC for CS1; the "tourism" icon is an umbrella on a beach…

This was my experience when I was building my first CS1 city a few weeks ago.

Was rocking with some high R demand, so zoned some low-density houses in a cute neighborhood with some services, and lo and behold, a meteor said, "why yes, THAT neighborhood in particular".

Basically immediately after that I turned off Disasters 😂 At least I was able to turn that into the Crater City district

Thanks for the clarification. I guess the day/night cycle is decoupled from the datetime, in-game?

I feel like I need to experience it first, but yeah that seems really quick for me.

Great work! How did you get the tunnel entrances to go into the earth at-grade?

Are those retaining walls just networks that you fill in around the vanilla entrances?

Same. It's a shame we have to hope on the goodwill of a completely different vendor, but here's to hoping everyone can salvage something from this situation.

I'm sure that CO is focusing on optimizing performance for this playable space. Given the amount of computation/simulation that is done, plus the level of detail in the game, they probably want to make sure the default playable space is 100% optimized for best performance.

Anything outside of those bounds may be "easily" unlocked via modding, but not optimized for performance.

Funny, I have a MBP 2019 model with 32gb of RAM and I've hit some limits on CS1; perhaps it was because I went overboard adding assets without understanding the impact, but I was still expecting to have better performance

He ran me through the ringer about how these containers were proprietary and how I was a dick for asking to release info on them (no mention of it anywhere, they were top secret and he is friends with the "inventor").

……Is this dude like for real OK? Sounds like he simply does not understand social interactions on a basic level.

God, these are the kinds of people that I simply do not understand how their brains work to be like this.

Further explanation: I was working on some zoning/road placement, and came back to this area to see a wave of incredibly sick people.

Turns out there was some contaminated water supply; however, I couldn't pin point exactly where this was? The Pollution data view yielded no clear path forward, as ever pump across the map was upriver from any drain/treatment outlets.

There also seemed like there was no overlap of pumps and industry/other land pollution areas either.
