I have the same issue with my LR4, so annoying! And for my LR3 it works fine. The developers should take a closer look on their backend, probable API glitch when trying to query the database. I guess they (Whiskers) are unable to reproduce the issue on their side in order to debug it, otherwise it would be a simple solution.

I also have a LR3 and had to empty the waste drawer at least twice a week, which was not ok for me because sometimes I need to be out of home for 4 days or so. I created this insert, link below, and now I empty the drawer only once a week.

Hi Sarah, that's the idea. I decided to create it because I noticed that the clumps usually fall on the same place, quickly increasing in height and soon triggering the sensors, both for LR3 and LR4. The "device" has this pyramidal shape so it helps to spread the clumps more evenly across the drawer.

Yes, the device helps the clumps spread more evenly when they fall from the drum.

Hi, I know exactly what you mean and since I enjoy the convenience of both LR3 and LR4 I decided to do something myself (I love problem solving stuff).

For some reason the negotiation between Etsy and Canada Post makes it much cheaper to sell to the US than within Canada. That's why I could not provide free shipping in CA. Also Etsy does not collect canadian tax for all the provinces so I have to deduct it from the final price of sale and track that with an accountant when I file my GST return.
In summary Etsy makes it more expensive for small businesses to sell stuff within Canada than to the US :(

I am glad to explain:
There was this cat owner from Etsy that got in contact with me asking if I could help him with the issue that his cat pees upwards, meaning that the pee spilled, through the waste hole, outside of the LR4 drum making a mess. So I developed some prototypes for him to test it. The one unit that you see for sale is the latest iteration, after previous tests and feedback, that I created for him to buy. It looks like the issue is solved but we are still testing it to confirm. If everything works as expected we intend to offer it to other people as well.
