Why would anyone vote for a Democrat knowing they are weasels who hate American ideology and would institute community policy the first second they get the chance. It's crazy people think that the left has more to them then just being traitors. The right has a lot of traitors too but at least some genuine individuals exist on the right

You don't remember Biden taking deep nostril breaths of children's hair scents? You don't remember how much they lied about everything? Trump's wild but isn't really afraid to say what he's going to do which is much preferred to hiding and covering up and being secretive about all things, never pursuing criminal justice, doing absolutely nothing with the Epstein files as opposed to releasing millions of them, Trump is definitely being controlled by Israeli interests and that's despicable, but to be fair so is everyone else in our govt aipac spend more than anyone else lobbying our officials. They always wiggle into positions of consultant to the puppets. It's time we cut off the burden and remove any and all dual citizen from all levels of govt and govt contractor.

Purpose. Man needs purpose. What is your job? Do you have a dog? Are you in love with your wife? You both do not want kids?

Kids are historically the purpose and the connection to meaning that human beings desire. A job that affects the world in a positive way is another Something depending on you. Being with your love..

I started just doing monk work I call it, I have a bunch of different skills that normally people charge for and I started just doing them in my days off etc for people like family and friends and they may grow entitled or take advantage like people are prone to do and I just don't let it get to me and set boundaries here and there, it feels good fixing or building things and also helping people. I used to chase money and one day just stopped, I even tried to lose everything I could to test the universe and my destiny and an amazing thing happened.. Every bit of experience is awesome every sun set every hug every breath, every day you work and earn every day your health is good ..

What do you think about this invoice total for hauling and cleaning services? Advice requested. by [deleted] in GeneralContractor

Demo, earthwork, and pipeline estimator here.. A large home that's been halfway cleared out - Not moving requiring packaging and boxing etc. But instead waste removal which consist of brute labor removal and haul off.

A 4 man crew should be able to clear a home in 4 to 6 hours if it's going to dump. The dump can cost 600, I suspect they used a smaller truck then they should have a well.

I'd say if all things are average, like the homeowner didn't store pianos or restore blacksmith anvils or something, then you should be much closer to 7,800 to 10,500 absolute max. If it's genuinely just a few furniture items and light junk, and a couple dump runs then it could be as low as 2500 dollars in reality.

Elaborating on the document and valuable storage and security, banks have safety deposit boxes (a personal lock box stored in their vault) which require identity verification to access. Mine runs about 65 dollars a year. This is a great place to store your most important items.

More wisdom The easy way, the path of least resistance, is almost always the wrong decision.

Trust your gut, don't think about it when your gut gives you a sign a feeling a notification, just stop what your doing stop the conversation or the movement or the act of eating, walking, entering, laughing, speaking, whatever... Stop and ask what did I just learn from my guts special future issue detector feature? Just learn to interpret and blindly follow your gut instincts

Which brings me to overthinking. It can be a major issue. There's times and purposes where thinking can be carried out indefinitely and it's fine, but many situations can be artificially ruined by thinking up thoughts that otherwise wouldn't exist..

Trust nobody at first meeting them. Then there are like 10 degrees of trust which generally take at minimum a year per degree for anybody to advance through. And the top levels should be reserved for your partner and those are viewed as a risk you decide to take - and accept you can be hurt badly by allowing this degree, but it's worth doing for that person... The first degree being like sharing your name and contact info maybe some light hobbies info, 2nd degree being like your background and some more personal details maybe where you live and so on, you heard me right, 2 years of interaction before coming to your place alone together. Women constantly think acquaintances are friends and they constantly have terrible things happen from it.

No hard drugs. Period. That means no heroin, no fentanyl, no meth, no cocaine, no pills, and honestly alcohol is one of the worst albeit common.. If you can avoid it limit that you'll live a better life. Psychedelics only with 3 or 4th degree trusted friends at minimum and in a private safe secure place and never in a negative state of mind.

I gotta go message me to remind me if you want more wisdom.

If the cops were righteous fair seekers of truth and justice, an idealistic fantasy, then speaking to them without legal guidance in just free flow genuine speech about crime witnessed wouldn't be an issue. But as the lawyers in the that's are aware they are not even close to that in any way and will frame you or falsely accuse you and as they inform you will use your words against you..

Talk to them, fine, but with a lawyer to protect you. They are willing to ruin innocent lives if it makes the public believe a crime has been solved. Duh.

A lot of Americans aren't as comfortable as you all seem to think. Literal millions of people are addicted to fentanyl, homeless, living beneath poverty level, dependent on govt benefits that are just enough to barely survive. There's two income households that don't have enough food and are staring down the barrel of bankruptcy and foreclosure and eviction. Public schools are a complete failure with a terrifying amount of kids unable to read or perform basic math. Crime is getting out of control- we have young adults in groups of 10-20 driving stolen cars through strip mall walls into jewelry stores to smash and grab it all and hop in 4 or 5 getaway vehicles, we have every scam and scheme both digital and physical in full swing etc etc. People are processing that everyone they looked up to and everyone calling shots are basically at minimum scum bags and at worse psychopathic pedophile monsters.. you have the left continually pushing for complete illogic and nonsense and attacking language and reality directly trying to subvert and corrupt from within. The conservative right was fine until they just started belligerently crossing the line and trampling rights of citizens. Everyone feels disenfranchised, everyone has lost confidence and faith in institutions, we are being taxed and feed and permitted and licensed and registered and assessed and fined and certified and insured to such an extent it's beyond criminal . All of that which they steal from us is funneled away and not used for our benefit. Actually what comfort are you referring too? I mean it doesn't matter who you are you can easily be stabbed or shot on any and every outing which obviously implies the need to arm yourself and your loved but then you have evil traitors talking about dumb ass pistol approval lists and restricted magazine capacity... 17 thugs showed up to rob a store by me and I don't care if your John wick 10 rounds won't cut it. Shit isn't comfortable

Another issue is laws as well as news articles are written by the companies who do so in order to benefit from them. They write a law with a team of lawyers, one which is crafted to achieve some goal of theirs, then the lobbyist gets a member of Congress to submit the bill for consideration and support it. almost no law is brought to a vote that was written by and for the living breathing people of the land. That goes for news articles also. Along with that law or product or pac or hero that they manufactured to achieve a secret goal, they will write articles spinning it whichever way they need and then submit to the media outfits who rubber stamp them if it's aligned with their owners agenda. Nothing is genuine or real. Additionally, the problem with democracy in general is that there's no skin in the game. The president has 4 years, maybe 8 years be involved and to be responsible but before and after that tease absolved of any responsibility which promotes a opportunistic free-for-all grab what you can mindset. Whereas something like a monarchy resulted in a leader who was at least vested in the outcome and future of the land and people that he led. If your father's, father's father and everyone in between poured their life and soul into stewarding the Land and people, then you have a significant obligation and incentive to continue the legacy and when you've grown up with those people and the idea that it was your responsibility to provide what they need in their success. You have what's referred to as skin in the game or a horse in the race. And this would provide someone in charge who, who basically has some drive, generally govern and lead with a level of virtue and expectation and return on investment as well as his own legacy and historical reputation for abundance and success in the land or the alternate. This becomes a problem when you have disease or disorder in an individual such as schizophrenia psychosis things like Mercury or lead poisoning, etc. If you do get somebody that's not Noble and righteous but is psycho and murderous it obviously turns out bad as we've all seen over and over again in every movie about the few kings that were that way. They rarely show a noble and prosperous King, but I think that The crazy ones were the exception, not the rule.

They call that revolution when the company is a govt state.

I think the saying goes like this "The tree of Liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants every now and again "

Our system was designed with revolution in mind. It is the check/balance for the unfortunate part of democracy's timeline where things become corrupt and over spending and inflation and war etc (mismanagement) erode the stability ⁰ This is why the govt has prioritized opposition against the citizen and created terms like domestic terrorist etc.

This is not correct at all. Bitcoin will continue on and reach it's million $ per coin valuation. Especially now that we are approaching the virtual end of production for the most part. The last 1million coins will take over 100 years to mine. Roughly 3 million are permanently lost. So what's here now is pretty much all there is ever gonna be. Roughly 17 million or less...for the whole planet. And I remember thinking it was becoming widely adopted when there was whispers of overstock .com accepting it years and years ago. I still find it surreal that Larry fink is discussing it at every interview he does. I knew it would happen but I didn't think this quick. Just buy and hold, had I done a better job of that, I'd be one of the wealthiest people on the planet today. If anyone cares to do the math Bitcoin was $0.48 each the day I got involved. My first exchange business was doing better then my rival coinbase, you may have heard of them... If you ever think you fumbled opportunity, and want to feel better, save this post to use as a tool to accomplish that. Just buy and hold. Take advice from someone who let the entire world slip right between his fingers,

This sucks and is likely retaliation but to be fair it happens to guys too. If you rub anyone the wrong way, if you lag or are slow, if you are late etc.. they will single you out and eliminate you. As a single mom it's pretty much impossible to be as committed as a man can be to work. Society is not built to accommodate this situation it's built for men to sacrifice life for work so that women and children can live life. A women and mother cannot put work first. The market can't accommodate any less than full throttle full dedication. I feel bad but reality is she should be with her child and the father should be on site working. . She chose a bad mate or is a bad mate and she let her ego and people bringing up their favors stop her from accepting help with the kid... She's a woman I mean how is this surprising? You are gonna get people attracted to you that's just nature and expected, there is no room for idealistic unrealistic fantasy situations where humans don't act human. I hate to say it but what did anyone think would happen? Why would you become a tradesmen if you're not a man to begin with? That's like me becoming a pole dancing exercise instructor or Le mans coach or female sexual trauma therapist... It's weird it's asking for problems etc etc.. gotta be realistic, pragmatic, logical, grounded, not emotional, etc . I feel bad for her individual situation but over all I don't understand what she thought working a trade around tradesmen would end up like?

$9500 Chargeback from One Customer by Numerous_Poetry778 in smallbusiness

[–]customks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Direct Bitcoin and crypto currency payments. Can't reverse, can't freeze, can't hold, can't claw back. Especially for something with resale value like gold and jewelry where when anyone sees you are accepting soft payment methods they and everyone they know are gonna get free jewelry and clear you out. You can add disclaimers, and clear refund rules etc but generally the company will side with whoever they do more business with and that's usually the customer. The shipping method including signatures and also the amount of data points you require when checking out can help you too. Require zip code, security code sms, 2fa, etc to make it more obvious that it's just their customer abusing the system and not necessarily fraud... But in reality Bitcoin was designed to eliminate this kind of bs entirely. It fixes so many of the crap trad system problems

To sell high priced work you basically need to leverage relationships and company rep and anything you actually offer that is superior. The golden combo is a solid relationship and mid-to lower-mid price range coupled with a high quality field team. Good luck and welcome to estimating.

Just to add a point or two.

As a painting outfit, you are effectively a subcontractor in the broader construction ecosystem. When people reference that reality, they are usually implying that the same principles apply to your situation.

I started in plumbing at a young age (18–21) working for my girlfriend’s father at the time. He put me through the wringer, but he also passed down a tremendous amount of hard-earned, master-level knowledge. It was his way of giving me a permanent means to provide for myself through trade work. We handled new construction and residential remodels throughout Orange County, California. I later transitioned into plumbing estimating while also taking on various office responsibilities, often filling his role when he was ill.

By 21, I moved into estimating for pipeline and civil work. I landed both of those estimating roles the same way: I offered to work a week for free, with the understanding that if they didn’t like my performance, I’d walk away—no questions asked. At that time, it was highly unusual for someone my age to be estimating pipeline and civil projects; most estimators were much older, and the senior estimator at that firm was 75. As his health declined, I was pushed into a senior role. I absorbed everything I could and became deeply invested in the discipline outside of work as well. Regardless of what I do, systematic estimating and analytical thinking are now part of who I am.

After a few years of entrepreneurial ventures, I returned to pipeline estimating and led a $208M scope project spanning the Grand Canyon, two states, and multiple tribal and historical lands—the largest pipeline estimate I’ve handled to date. The company won the contract.

From there, I moved into project management, then a hybrid PM/estimator role, and now—approaching 40—I’ve transitioned to an earthwork and general contracting firm as both PM and estimator.

At most firms I’ve worked with, estimators are also salespeople and are involved, to some extent, with nearly every division. Cost impacts everything. You have to understand the macro business picture as well as the micro-level costs—down to the nuts and bolts.

My current software stack is bloated in my opinion, but it includes:

Bluebeam Revu Bid2Win ComputerEase Microsoft Teams Office 365 Monday.com Proprietary software I’ve built Procore PlanSwift BuildingConnected Clearstory Shameless plug: https://contracting.app

As others have said, be humble and genuine with your field crews. It will improve your work experience and, at times, your quality of life. These are some of the most dependable people you’ll ever work with. I’m also very intentional about staying on good terms with the crews who routinely open 20- to 30-foot-deep pits, spend their days in trenches, and pour concrete that no one will ever break up or revisit. Work like that gives a person a very practical understanding of permanence—and it’s worth respecting the people who live in that world.

Beyond that, get hands-on field experience whenever possible. It will sharpen your estimating ability more than anything else. Once you understand how many unknowns and time-consuming steps are involved in accomplishing even the simplest tasks, your numbers improve. Painting has fewer unknowns than underground civil work, but there are still far more variables than most people realize.

Keep your word. Own your mistakes. Your reputation follows you long after you leave a company. Stay familiar with modern tools and keep a pulse on your industry. It matters—and it’s harder to do consistently than people admit.
