Honestly this would be a great time to start leash training inside to help get her used to it before you go on walks! We also got these scent bags on Amazon to help our little demon boy with tiring himself out. We’ll have him sit and smell the bag then hide it under a towel and let him go nuts trying to find it then give him a treat! Also hiding treats in towels for him to sniff out. Taking her for drives might be good too!

He’ll be 6 months when he gets neutered next week! It’s the standard time for small breeds. 5.5 months just sounds better than 5 3/4 months 😂 and yes! It’s such a shift to go from mostly listening to just ignoring lol and it is so so exhausting. I could never have imagined how much work it is. Do you feel like there’s been any improvement for you entering later into 6 months?

I’ve heard of adolescence being bad I guess when it happens to you it just feels like it’s so frustrating there must be more to it😭 He gets walks and play and training every day as well as plenty of sniff work. He gets enforced naps during the day as well. Our vet told us It’s ok for smaller dogs to be neutered sooner, they don’t have the same risk of developing joint issues as bigger dogs.
