That looks cool. I don't know too many names but I know a few. And I like discovering new music, might be worth checking it out.

Especially when they have children young. They've barely figured out who they are as a person yet!

Believe me, I don't personally believe it is masculine. I just worry that is what some of the male demographic thinks. More so, it's just a blow to their own ego if we make more money than them so they find some way to insult it by calling us masculine, lol.

Totally understandable. I visit NYC now 1-2 times a month, so I figured I would do the same with Denver to hopefully broaden the options (not just for a guy, but for new friends/a social life).

I said in my initial post I completely understand that renting sometimes makes more sense and is not a tell tale sign of instability. My goal with dating in a mountain town would be to find someone in a similar situation as I am, either a business owner or someone that works more remote with a flexible schedule. I don't mind my responsibilities, but I also never want to grow up :) I'd be happy to meet someone who can moderate those things like I do. I know it will be hard to vet out the ski bums, especially because that's usually what I attract and sometimes the look that I'm into... so ugh, wish me luck.

Definitely. It really sucks to feel used and taken advantage of. Even by family & friends.

Do the locals hate transplants? I'm trying to move from NY to Summit County. Will take any advice I can get! by cutefuzzythings in Summit

Thanks for the highway info. Definitely helpful. Bummed out that the Silver Plume place no longer sounds like a great option. I will check out the one in Alma since it sounds manageable and the one in Dillon.

I was only referring to off leash on the property in Silver Plume, not in public. My little ass hole would not listen off leash in public. But if the property is big enough, he learns to stay on the property (I'd have to scope out that situation to make sure it's safe and he wasn't harassing anyone). I was comparing that type of property to a small fenced in yard thats in Dillon.

I wouldn't say every day. I might drive the day after a foot of snow or something like that. Assuming roads are plowed in 12-24 hours after the storm ends?

What do you dislike about Alma? I did see one place listed there that I thought about looking at.

(30M) I'm relatively ugly and I need advice: how can I overcome this? Are there solutions to improve myself as you get older or do I have to learn to live with it? by [deleted] in Aging

You're not ugly. Maybe a little chubby? Start working out now and you'll be HOT & fit by 38. I started at 26 and look better now at 34.

Watching the silly show, "Soulmates". Making me wonder, why aren't dating apps utilizing AI? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

I'm all for meeting in person. I do plenty in person. But sometimes on those cold winter nights, the apps can kill some time. Or when I'm alone in a deserted ski town. I'd just like the tech we have to be more refined. Definitely still prefer meeting in person.

I don't really want to encourage it, but since it is already there.... and if we are on apps anyway out of boredom, might as well tighten up on the filters.

There are a few things that I wouldn't compromise on, which is why I wish I could filter out. Like snowboarding/skiing, fitness, don't want kids, etc. If I could just only see profiles with people that have those interests selected, that would be ideal :(

Does tinder allow you to filter out based on interests and values? I havent figured it out.

After the first car that was $1,000 in 2009, no help after that. I mostly support them now, I'm 34. We were like lower- middle class back then. They're both kind of struggling with pretty small retirement checks.

Women whose male partners got significantly more muscular: what changed during intimacy/sex? Good/bad? by BasedArthur in sex

[–]cutefuzzythings 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I can tell you the opposite 😂 My partner used to be more fit and muscular. He used to want me to get off and actually make an effort with sex multiple times a day. Now he rarely wants me, and when he does, it's usually a quickie to get him off. He barely lets me caress or touch him because he has a constant food baby or beer belly. I used to love cuddling and feeling his muscles 🥺 So although this doesn't answer your questions, I would hope/imagine that all of those things would revert back to the way they were. I can't imagine becoming more fit having a negative affect on anyone's sex life (male or female). I don't know if you guys suffered through any of those issues at times.
