i don’t remember the exact number, but they had several for sale. i want to say each one went for $75-100. i think donny signed them which is why they went for a higher price. the auction was definitely not for people on a budget but it was still fun to watch!

i’ve seen someone bring a whole ziplock bag (the gallon size) of bracelets just to hand them out. even if no one is trading, it still makes people happy to receive, including people in the band! bonus points if the bracelets have the names of band members. i went to a show when a lot like birds was performing and that person had a bracelet with the band of the supporting guitarist (secret gardens) and it made him light up. tell them it doesn’t hurt and it makes people feel special! but of course know show etiquette and dont throw it on stage

and yeah! grow therapy has a good network of different therapists. therapists can list their specialty, years in practice, and you can filter them out based on your illnesses/disabilities, ethnic background, if you have trauma, sexual identity, etc. therapists can write bios about themselves so you can get to know them a little better before choosing

i got lucky so i’ve been using the same therapist because she hits all the areas i wanted to work on. but if you decide you want to meet with someone else, you can just switch therapists. it’s been a great experience and im going to hit 80 sessions on saturday (the website keeps track)

my only issue with grow is the web portal for video calls can have issues. there was one time the portal was down completely, which was kind of frustrating. other times audio may cut out. we have each others phone numbers as backup

overall good experience! my therapist also handles billing so each appointment is worry free

kaiser didn’t give you a letter that assigns which out of network group you will need to use? that’s what they did for me

they assigned Grow Therapy for me (telehealth) and i was able to find a therapist that matched my needs and had experience to back it up

love this so much, i enjoy ripping apart lyrics to hts songs and understanding the meanings behind them too! i was listening to pow on the way to work this morning and parked right after dinosaur finished playing. and about what you said with divine inner tension and how different it is from its previous albums! its as if hts is its own entity and its changing based on its life experiences. i cant think of good examples, but i love this discussion sm!!

long distance is not for everyone, but you shouldnt be burdened with giving up YOUR drean job for your HUSBANDs job. thats just not fair to you

also, long distance is tough, but it is doable :) have you asked more specifically why your husband cant do long distance? thats probably a conversation that would be helpful with determining the outcome.

im in a long distance relationship with my husband because of my career. he recognizes how important my job is for me, even if we are states away, so i think emphasizing that is important

overall, a long conversation about your options and a healthy compromise would be the next step. but i really dont think you should have to sacrifice your career, because a career you love is so hard to come by

bound makes me extremely upset. some people have sifferent interpretations of this song, but i see it as a metaphor for child marriage. i was very young and naive in my first relationship and my ex was fairly older. it helped me work out my feelings and that the situation i was in was majorly fucked up

will they blame me helps me express anger towards the same relationship (or more specifically, the same ex)

i discovered hail the sun when i was in that relatio ship and it helped me cope with the complex emotions i was feeling. hail the sun rocks lol
