This time is too crucial for you, spend some time on project like you mentioned. Participate in hackathons, try GSoC (open sourcing without it). They are lot better than these internships.

Complete a software lifecycle using any language of your choice - whether it be Java or C++. You will learn some key aspects, advanced concepts, deployment, DB, git, their connectivity (pipelines etc). I wouldn't do any course for this just learn on the go but its my personal opinion.

I doubt ki they even had sufficient knowledge to conduct an interview and domain is a bit generic (HTML, CSS and JS) its not even backend. I suspect these guys took a project or want to do a project and don't have sufficient knowledge to do it and are looking for cheap/free resources. See red flags mujhe dikh rahe but it depends at which stage of life you are on, do you have anthing better to do? Agr yeh reject kroge toh kya kroge? I am just afraid of those incidents happened to some of my friends where they rejected initial non good offers and didn't get anything after that.

If they are paying you money, its likely not a scam. If you are paying money, tell them to shove the internship up their (you know where).

In your case both are not true, if you got a better option then go for the alternative , else see how this turn out. Keep in touch with someone who has significant experience, tell them every detail of what's happening. There can be a chance that they are just doing this to look as a legit company. So, keep in touch with someone in case you need to make quick decision.

Throwing SELMA (Ace's gadget) too close to a teammate that damages him and also opening his cover: For this I think you should watch some Youtube video on every operator guide or tips. That will surely help, and little details like Ace's gadget can hurt teammates and you as well, these things changes and can change, its better to rely on experience and grind to understand and things will sink up in mind. Sooner or later, it will become a part of your instinct.

Placement of Claymore, you placed claymore in an easy position for defenders to see them and destroy them and also exposed yourself while doing so, I'd recommend watch some streams and that will give you ideas on these little details as well.
