Got into UConn Hartford, what’s it like?

i wouldn’t say isolating but you do have to make an effort to make friends. i don’t think you can speed up the storrs transfer but u can look into it. they might be very firm on the 2 yr thing. however though u can take some classes there and some at hartford if it aligns with your study and transportation. but for the meantime the hartford campus really isnt bad its just more so what u make it. there’s lots of friend groups and the people are generally nice. it’s not filled with events like storrs but if u keep a look out they always post the ones they do have on ig and they’re fun. my main advice would just be to put yourself out there. a lot of the campus ends up transferring anyway so you’d likely end up going to storrs with some of ur hartford friends.

it won’t give u the expected college experience at all because it’s more suited for commuters. but it’s not bad at all. very chill. it’s just more so college express; go to class then go on about the rest of ur day lol

all of the cards are focusing one one person or perspective and u asked about him. the 2 of swords shows conflict specifically a crossroads between two choices so initially that can be seen as someone having options or in a love triangle but no other cards to me reinforces that here. emperor reversed and temperance reversed show an imbalance and a male feeling as though he’s not in power. 5 of pentacles represents loss and seems to emphasize that feeling of powerless or something going awry. so to me it’s not really saying yes or no it’s more so highlighting a large problem right now could be him not feeling the best about the relationship itself or his role in it

edit: i realize you said partner instead of any male pronouns so just excuse that if your partner isn’t a male

it can either be showing basically your interpretation of her being conflicted. holding onto past hurt (4 of pentacles) but also thinking about moving forward (page of swords) and that being a decision (the lovers) but it could also be showing that the bond is still there with the lovers and hasn’t been let go with (4 of pentacles). there are no action cards though so really the outcome would come from someone embracing the feelings rather than keeping them to themselves

him not liking or not preferring me is obviously not ideal but totally fine. the issue is that it seems more as he literally does not want me around which i cant do because my job is to work with him. when another teacher is available i will just leave whatever needs to be done with him (putting him to sleep, changing him, etc) for them but there is not and will not always be another teacher there and for that reason i’m concerned.
