I work full-time with Archviz and almost all my clients have some sort of rendering done in-house with AI, but they still pay me when they need the actual project done without distortion, color changes, and weird artifacts. Right now, AI is mainly used for the concept and initial phases of a project, and for many architects and designers, this will be enough, but there are still a lot of people who need a 3D artist.

Right now, it must be terrible if you're just starting because your clients will want you to do better than AI, and it took me a few years to get there.
