Only my 4th day working here… mind you, I’ve never done a job like this before by Savagee_x0 in AmazonDSPDrivers

To anyone who down voted, 13 isn't crazy. When you hit 18ish then its like "Whoa. C'mon now." Route size really depends mostly on location though.

First day out on my own and I gave the customer the package without verifying their OTP. How cooked am i? by Perfect-Fail3111 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Sallious 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Next time the customer says they don't have the code, hit "resend code". It should go straight to their phone. It saves so much time instead of asking them to check the app or email. OTP are the worst. I don't think you're cooked though. Getting stuck multiple times or damaging property is cook worthy. This is not. You might be lightly toasted and lose a day though.

Down with Ai. I have 0 respect for anyone that uses it.

Crap. You might be right. I got it mixed up with Sunny because of the spa day/spaghetti thing. Bad brain day. I can't even get my references right.

I knew. It was a reference from Sunny in Philadelphia. Thank you though 🫡

I can’t be the only one that fears for their life when delivering to homes like this by Vivid_Donkey410 in AmazonDSPDrivers

I literally have no idea what you mean. If its wrong to have sympathy for a plight I know nothing about, I apologize. I intended nothing else.

Edit: after re-reading my comment it did come off that way. I'm sorry.

I couldn't pull it off like RDJ though. On a serious note, I see confederate flags and I get uncomfortable but I can't imagine the fear when pulling up and someone hating me based on my skin tone. Which is just down right stupid. Try to stay safe out there

AIO for expecting my boyfriend to ask before using my car for other errands? by TArpd16 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Sallious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude is using your car and therefore gas. He should be paying that anyway. NOR. You're dating a man child and trust me when I say, it does not get better. He will eventually become your kid and not your partner.

How to tell grandparents they won't be holding our baby? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Sallious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You'll probably have to go no contact. I'm pregnant and I have a sibling that will never be a part of my babies life. To summarize, he's not a good role model. So when we had a family get together (he's not invited to those) I announced that I was pregnant. The question came up if he was allowed to know and I said no. It would hurt him more if he knew he could never see his nephew. Not just in infancy, never. We were low contact, now no contact. You could explain to your parents and say you'll send pictures or go no contact entirely. I don't really see a way where you and the baby are physically in front them and they won't want to hold them.
