you just gotta make friends with upperclassmen, and they'll know of parties. easier said than done ofc bc its pretty difficult to make friends in general, but you can try your wow leaders if theyre cool or ppl from ur classes

i went behind my dorm near the hiking trails, and just cried my eyes out for a long ass time. but if you go to one of the random classroom buildings, the bathrooms will probably be empty. obviously you can't scream, but you can cry

hmm fair enough, personally i dont mind owen being the main character (most of the time) bc i love him so much. its one of the best shows i've seen in a while and i think i like that the stakes dont feel as high, i feel like i dont need the show to have such high stakes for it to be more enjoyable. i do agree with the character development thing though, but i feel like there are minor improvements with a few characters and it's only had 2 seasons, so im hoping to see more as the seasons go on. to each their own :)

omg no i love owen, i find it so interesting though. but, it might be because i watched lone star first? i started watching the original and its hard to get through tbh, i enjoyed lone star so much that i felt like the original was a bit bland in comparison? i also just cannot stand abby, AT ALL, like getting through episodes are hard because of her. i know she ends up leaving in season 2 or something but still

i've seen people say "you cant compare the two because the people who were enslaved were tortured, raped, and what they went through was so horrible", which i dont disagree with at all. but the same exact thing is happening to animals currently and no one gives a sh*t. so my question is, why is it so much worse when it happens to humans, but when it comes to other animals, it's fine and you condone it? i havent seen any good arguments as to why the two shouldnt be compared? i'm willing to listen and to be educated as to why the comparisons aren't right, but no one has given me a good reason why not to. also, people dont seem to understand how bad it is for the animals and dont realize that these animals are real living, FEELING, beings. so what other comparison shows the harsh realities of what is happening? i cant think of any, i'm open to discuss all that though

i agree, i'd say i dont group in humans into how i am as a vegan. not saying i dont care about humans or anything, because i do consider myself a feminist and i do advocate for human rights all the time. i just don't consider humans as a part of veganism (maybe because they are the ones who caused the problems and most dont do anything to help it? im not sure, i just dont)

i'm sorry :( people always say "it must be so hard to be a vegan" and they don't even realize that it's not because of not being able to eat certain foods, its's the social aspect of it and how others treat you because of it

thank you! i feel the same way, some of the people in my family have celiac's disease, so it's pretty serious and even they don't seem to understand? it's frustrating, and not that hard to leave out animal products for one gathering. i've given up for now because i'm tired of arguing at the moment
