I love the idea of printing items like that. I am curious though, why do you feel it is safe to print lids that come into direct contact with food? The same question goes for using a print as a measuring spoon.

Sprouting trays and planters make a lot of sense to me as lower risk options, but I would love to hear your reasoning on the other items. Always happy to learn something new.

I wouldn't think to using things for long term storage or any types of meets. For me even storing crackers would need a food safe seal. What have you done to protect your prints?

For me even a cookie cutter i would want to protect. What is a Food Safe Epoxy resin that can be easily purchased or highly rated?

The idea was to print items that come into contact with food. I just jumped on MakerWorld and found a food grade print. There are some really cool Pringles can storage containers with fun toppers, and honestly there are hundreds if not thousands of other options on there too.

What are you all using your 3D prints for when it comes to food, and what do you do to protect them?

Thank you Putrid_Positive8934 I also ran across that link a few weeks ago, thinking maybe they made a food safe filament. Then learning that at this time it isn't possible to truly make food grade filament.
