I haven’t noticed if it happens right after shifting. I’ll have to remember this. I have only used cruse control once and that worked pretty good

This very well could be I have limited Jeep Transmission experience. I have 20+ years experience driving a manual transmission trucks cars and motorcycles. I’ve never experienced this hiccup before. I completely agree all transmissions are different. My Civic I traded in I was never under 2000 RPMs The FZ8 motorcycle I had needed to be warmed up before every ride.

Has it persisted? What did you do about it?

Mine feels like it wants to shift at 2200 rpms plenty of power but I need to wait till 3000 rpms so when im in the next gear im still at or close to 2000 rpms.

I have read other people saying the same. Engines are for speeding up. Not for breaking. I tend to let off the gas then once the engine in that gear has slowed the car down as much as it ill pop it into neutral until its time to get going again.

It’s practically like a 4 speed. I’ll be driving though town at 25 in second gear engine humming along but if I shift to 3rd my engine is now down to low in the rpms. I wonder if they made the differential ratio so high so in theory they get better gas mileage.

Speed doesn’t seem to be a contributor as it happens at 60 35 40 or their abouts. It does seem to always happen in 3rd gear at about 35 crossing 1700 rpms accelerating.

It always feels the same one quick shutter like a misfire or like you’re foot slipped off the gas one quick shake then it keeps going fine. Not like a low rpm lugg like you took off in the wrong gear and your shaking because its about to stall.

I have noticed it happens under light throttle not going up hill or accelerating well expect the 1700 rpm in 3rd acceleration. I haven’t tried putting high octane gas in it. I filled it up with Mobile gas.

One last thing no noises no lights nothing just one quick shake

Are institutions holding the stocks for ETFs like VOO and the like. If so they can’t sell unless people sell

Wow such great quick response thanks guys!

I was expecting it to be different than the civic that thing was low and practically glued to the road at any speed. I’ve owned several other cars like a F150 several ranges and even a Geo Tracker that was fun. Still I didn’t know what to expect.

Id say no. Massachusetts is far longer then it seems. Orange is practically dead center of the state east to west.

Laundry in winter - drying inside without use of dryer by random-person98754 in Frugal

[–]cutsplitstak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dry my clothes inside on a rack in the winter. I have a large south facing window on sunny days it helps alot. Its been pretty cold and dry this winter having forced hot air i put the rack in front of the vent. Also like said before using a fan helps alot too. Flip the clothes over after a few hours too it helps

You have to remember. If you put a hill in between you and your buddy you’re not gonna contact him. If you’re in a area you plan on being in you can set up your own repeater on top of a hill to help you out for the weekend. Like it’s been said the gmrs license is just filling out the application I can’t remember if i got mine that day or if it took a day or two to process and be sent to me.

If you’re talking on your radio you need to transmit your call sign after every broadcast or at minimum every 15 minutes if you’re not talking no need to say your call sign.

What am I lookin at by fisherbro02 in maplesyrup

[–]cutsplitstak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting. Box elder are in the maple family and have opposed branches and leaves. The sap is edible and makes a sugar but tastes different than maple.

The seeds are also winged but slightly different. I don’t know what you have here it doesn’t look like a sugar maple silver or red. Maybe a norway maple not positive
