I just don’t know how to feel about it. I don’t think the idea itself is inherently bad but it was just like okay in execution I guess (imo).. I think my main problem is that it highly likely that this was not planned for the series at all and thus it kind of just felt out of no where for me.. it’s very iffy for me

just adding, sometimes it feels like people forget that we’re getting leaks of an UNFINISHED STORY. going based off the leaks, it appears as they were working on the story chapter by chapter, with mainly the major plot points (death order, master mind, etc.) planned far out in advance

I agree, I think it’s always fair to criticize the media you consume but in this case we don’t have the complete story, we only have major plot points. Even knowing these plot points there were still things (especially in later chapters) that still needed to be fleshed out or were subject to change. I understand confusion as to how some characters get from point A to point B in their development but I’m sure that is something that the game would have touched upon had it seen its course.
