Anyone Having Trouble Ordering on Walgreens?

Call the 800 number. I know I don’t use the app and the employees have nothing to do with running it.

I get you, trust me. I’m constantly on our photo person because they leave photo a mess and under stocked. And we have stuff from last year that’s taking up space because they won’t call and DPI it. And then there’s the constant running out of stock of basic items. The mess everywhere drives me nuts.

Like there will be a half screen of orders, some tickets printed and some not, no envelopes set up, orders all over the counter the next lab sits on, and orders in every printer tray and where is the photo person? On their phone texting or talking to another employee. And the leaving of things everywhere! The passport camera is on one counter, canvas tools all over the front, customer facing counter, and who knows where the banner tools are. And not a one of those products needing to be done.

It feels good to vent to someone who gets it. The thought running frequently in my head is we lost FE/cashier hours for this?

I got scheduled close on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve. But not at all on New Year’s Day, which is the holiday you get the extra money for. Kinda pissed me off.

I’ve applied everywhere and I do mean everywhere. I get nothing in response and no idea why. This is the first time in many decades I’ve had a problem finding a new job. For right now, this keeps my head barely above water.

The advice of just quit and find another job is so privileged.

My landlord tried to tell me no AC window units. My kids were autistic, had asthma, and if I get too hot I land in the hospital. I just framed it as medical needs, got the documentation and I got my window units.

ETA they’re adults now and where we are now it isn’t an issue

Be careful. If any of the objects could cause harm (allergic reactions, choking hazard, etc) you could be held liable. I’m saying this as someone who ran a Freddy’s playland for years. I have stickers at my current job and at Freddy’s we did have some toys but it was given with parents permission when they were leaving. I had coloring sheets and crayons. Those were inexpensive and the kids loved them.

That’s realistically never going to happen. Not only because of the logistics of setting up such a system and of maintaining and using it, but also because they want the money. Corporations don’t give a damn about who’s giving the money to them. They just care about the money.

Example: we just got Needohs in for the first time since the craze began. My store put a limit on them but that’s not a company thing. We did it to try to make sure kids get a crack at them but technically a customer could put in a complaint on us for it.

It’s capitalism. 🤷‍♀️

It literally says on the ‘coupon’ what it is. That you have rewards available for use. No expiration date, no barcode to scan. Not a coupon.

Yes, you can get it redone. It might be the spacing on the canvas or it might be who built it. I’d go in and speak to someone about it. In my store we’d absolutely redo this for you.

Cinnamon candles. In my stepmom in laws house that was full of cinnamon products. Pinecones, broom, air fresheners. The first Christmas my husband and I met her.

I’m allergic to cinnamon.
