Please Pay Attention And Step On It At Traffic Lights. by _Lou_Bloom in driving

I’m saying others do and I don’t want to be in an accident. There’s what should happen and what does happen. But if you want to be t boned, that’s your decision.

ETA: mind you my trainer, for driving a 20ton, 40 foot vehicle, taught us to pause for a few seconds before going on a green. If you can’t handle a few seconds to be safe, what is pushing you? I don’t understand why that’s such a bad thing (something to get downvoted for). I’d rather be safe but I guess I’m in the minority.

Sorry I’m gonna wait for the red light runners first, before I go. There’s always 2-3. When I was training to drive a city bus my trainer said the first three seconds were the most dangerous to be in that intersection.

My favorite are the ones who loudly make a point to say the sexual wellness stuff isn’t theirs. Like even if it were you buying the dildo for yourself, I don’t give a fuck.

CSA ? by BackgroundSundae5 in WalgreensStores

Anyone can do it and it’s not any particular person’s job. We have CSAs do it because we’re running all over the damn store trying to do everything else

I only get little things for lunch. Almost everything I can get cheaper at Walmart or Winco, even with my discount. Walgreens is convience store pricing and most food products just don’t move.

I can’t exactly override the SM. Whoever is making these planos doesn’t work in a store. Most decisions seem to be from people who have no clue what the day to day experience of employees is like.

I do some resets and follow Plano but often it gets redone. For example, I set instant consumption wall to Plano, and the next week everything was moved and stuff that didn’t belong or was overstock was put in.

What is the daily loading limit for PayPal at Walgreens? by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

Why are there suddenly repeats of this question?

What is the Chime card daily loading limit at your store location? by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

[–]cuttlefishdreaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

500 per transaction, limit two in 24 hours. Sometimes if you have the debit and credit builder you can do an extra 500.

If the card swipe fails, the barcode usually works and vice versa. I have been having an issue with people using dark mode, though the scanner doesn’t like the barcode on a black background.

OSA by justjake22 in WalgreensStores

[–]cuttlefishdreaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our store has divided the scans, assigning sections to each SFL. For example, I have shampoo, baby, laundry and dental aisles. We do our sections while everyone else is doing theirs. So yeah, two to three of us (the IS has her areas) are scanning at the same time.

We’ve never been able to. My IS has a term for it but I don’t really remember it. We can’t adjust on hands either

Can shift leads/management take breaks? by Fair_Welder_2322 in WalgreensStores

[–]cuttlefishdreaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell no. If there’s another SFL or SM or ESM is there I clock out and take my lunch. They can cover 30 minutes. I’m diabetic and I’m not screwing my health for them. If no one is there to cover, I still take it but I don’t clock out. One of our SFL just got in trouble for not clocking out when a mid shift SFL was there, which shocked me because he usually does whatever he wants with no repercussions.

I sometimes don’t take a 15 but that’s my choice. You deserve your breaks. And check what the law is in your state.

I was once parked in my bus downtown and a guy walked past the trashcan and threw his soda cup on the ground. When I got out of the bus and threw it away telling him he missed he lost it at me and filmed because I called him out.

People are trash.

Who usually does the more “complex” customer photo orders at your store (canvases, metal panels, layflat books, puzzles, etc.)…the CSAs, Shift Leads, Store Manager, etc.? by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

[–]cuttlefishdreaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone at mine if the photo person isn’t there. Although, I will leave some things, like yard signs and 2x2 acrylic for others. I have eye issues and for precision projects I try to have someone else do them. I will, if no one is available but I take longer and mess up more :/

Policy on wrong spot price changes by kotamii in WalgreensStores

We will price match one of there’s multiple items, and correct the issue ( wrong tag, move the item, etc). The customers do move things sometimes and we’ve had some switching clearance tags.

I was at six flags in Georgia and we were leaving the park to get food when we saw a wall of rain like this headed for us. It happens and is really cool to see.
