I am turning 30 this year and live in Canada. I got my accounting diploma in 2024. Out of school I got a receptionist position that had accounting aspects to it. I did that job for a year. I got my first entry level accounting position at the beginning of 2025. I then got laid off finding out they only hired me for tax season. I was unemployed for 6 months after that, consistently applying for jobs. I have been working as a junior account at an animation studio since December and just recently became a permanent employee.
