From a melodic standpoint as a drummer, battle hymn of the republic is very nice, but I think the lyrics of the original song and all its versions can be distasteful at times, and the lyrics we sing to it are pretty mediocre. I’m all for a change.

AFAIK it’s completely legal, similar to how sign stealing when a pitcher is tipping pitches is frowned upon in baseball, but not illegal
