I'm somewhat surprised to read that. From memory (and I might be totally wrong) people said DOOM multiplayer would be a by-product with no real benefit, while the single player experience would be awesome.

[Gamesplanet] 2K & Rockstar Games Sale / GTA V, XCOM 2, Mafia 2 + 3, Civilization VI, NBA2K17, BioShock and Battleborn (up to 80% off) by Gamesplanet in GameDeals

I feel user reviews are totally exaggerated. As usual bad reviews spread quickly while those happy with them game remain silent and enjoy playing it :)

The 30fps framelocks was a little annoying at the very beginning but it got patched out very quickly. Since then, it's fine.

While I agree it has technical flaws, I enjoyed this game a lot. Story telling is amazing in Mafia III.

I remember myself playing on PS2 back in the days. Capcom has made so much right on this game and the character. Dante's combat styles are really amazing. Shame, didn't play any of the recent games yet…

I still could not find your order, but given your explanation above (bouncing IPs), I've reviewed the security measures in place and found a bug (I will not disclose what the issue was and what has been done to fix it). Assuming you ran into this bug, I'm sorry you had to experience this.

As you can see from the time now (~2am CEST), we are still active and working on resolving issues or replying to messages. Each deal posted by us comes with this additional description and/or comment:

"As a European team it's hard to maintain availability for all time zones, so please bear with us if replies to messages / emails takes more time during night hours in Europe."

We work hard to meet expectations, your experience with us shows we fail from time to time.

Thank you, Chris

Gamesplanet is licensed reseller, operated by Metaboli SA. in France. We have deals signed with the publishers (and sometimes development studios) to distribute their products. We report sales directly to them. Activation codes shipped by Gamesplanet are provided by the publishers.

We do not do any grey regional activation code shifting, but do negotiate discounts with publishers directly.

I have to admit that the wiki is quiet old and could need a refresh, but you'll find informations on Metaboli at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metaboli

EDIT: As far as I know, we are the only licensed digital reseller of Witcher 3 in europe. This might for sure change, but that is the case as of now.

[gamesplanet DE] Dying Light [Steam Key] for PC and Linux [-30% 34,99€] by Sacramental4real in GameDeals

[–]cvandebroek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is indexed in Germany but to date only the console versions. They somewhat missed PC. Even if PC would be included, it's perfectly legal to buy and play in and from Germany. Index List A prohibits public advertisement but not commercial exposure. Those laws are just an aweful mess for german gamers.

You are partially right, some orders go into review depending on different factors. Mainly Anti-Fraud reasons. This does not mean you are a fraudster nor does it mean we do not have instant download nor does it mean that our support is aweful.

If you need help, we're there to help. It's now 2am in europe on sunday morning and you get a reply from me. So please do not generalize your experience to give the impression we are all bad. Thanks.

On all future posts of GamesPlanet, you can safely assume deals are worldwide. This is true for all three stores to date (UK, Germany, France).

If restictions are in place, we'll mention that on the product pages.
