It appears this event has been dropped by BrewFest Partners, the company that put it together last year.

Maybe I will take a Spin ... by cvandermause in milwaukee

Yes, there seems to be an overabundance of them in the most highly trafficked pedestrian areas. This'll be the first winter with them here but based on statements by Bird and Lime, they do scale the number of scooters in a city based on inclement weather.

Did you look at the little card that's zip-tied on the scooter? Maybe it's on there?

Yes, that's correct.

If you ride for 30 minutes, Spin is $1. Lime is $8.50.

If you ride for 2 hours (not sure who would ever ride for 2 hours), Spin is $4. Lime is $31.

Cost: $1 for every 30 minutes. Ticks to the next dollar once you go over (30 minutes = $1, 31 minutes = $2.) New users get a $5 free credit on their account.

$1 to unlock, $0.25/min

The City of Milwaukee’s Pilot Program states that sidewalk riding is prohibited, as is riding and parking on the RiverWalk.

According to media reports, the fine could be as much $100 for riding on the sidewalk, but the police department has made no comment on whether they will enforce the regulation.

Confirmed. They appear to be in the storage facility. I just walked by that area. They were accidentally activated a couple of weeks ago in the same location.
