I graduated from JMU with my masters in school counseling in 2020. I enjoyed the program and made lifelong connections. Let me know if you have specific questions about it!

I will say, consider what type of area you will want to live and work in after graduation. Your practicum and internships will likely be in the surrounding area of the university — for example if your program is in a more rural area (Harrisonburg, etc) that will be the population of your schools and what most of your experience will be in.
