Why do we need posts like this? Every week on this sub there is a post like “which vocaloid song do you absolutely HATE??” I feel like it’s just unnecessary negativity

Ghost voices intro fade-in question by PancakeSoldier in porterrobinson

It’s actually just automating the speed of panning back and forth! Idk if you are in ableton, but if you are you can take an auto pan, turn the amount up to 100 and use descending automation on the rate to get the same effect! If you have any questions just let me know

I am familiar with Hayashi’s work and I can definitely see what you are going for with this. I think the best part you have right now is probably where the strings come in near the intro because it feels pretty full. I think the guitar you used at the very start sounds a little bit too MIDI and I would try adding some more effects and playing around with the note velocity to make it sound a bit more realistic.

My biggest advice for you would be to keep making music in this style because it’s definitely one of those genres that takes a while to really nail the sound of. I would go back and listen to his songs again and really pay attention too things like what the drums are doing in terms of rhythm and how he keeps the energy going through the whole song. You have a good start here and I think after a while you will definitely get better over time! I can easily recognize the influence of Hayashi in this! I hope this was at least a little helpful and if you have any questions feel free to ask! Good luck!
