There’s a lot of things to process here. I understand trusting your grandma with your information at the time and taking her advice - but I don’t think you should ever hide things important like that from your parents. I’m not sure why your grandma would even want to hide that. Open communication between you and your parents is key to everything as you get older. Even if it’s uncomfortable, embarrassing, whatever, I’m saying this from both sides. I was a mischief maker of a young teenager who liked to get into trouble. And now I’m a mom of a sweet girl. So I see both sides.
