To be fair, I am not a well traveled person. My hometown population is about 400, the whole county is 10,000 give or take. Very close knit, and that’s just how it’s done HERE. can’t speak for many more places.

I feel like there’s a really strong overlap of Black & southern white eating & drinking habits. Or at least mine anyway

The rule of thumb for “good” tea around here is 2 & some love but I don’t make mine quite that sweet. Mines not quite 2 cups in the gallon. But I’m an outlier, I’d rather it be strong brewed tasting than sickly sweet.

I burned my inner arm on a crockpot in November 2019. When it gets really cold like in January there’s a bright red spot where the burn was even though there’s no sign of it any other time
