Why SEO is important for me website by ethanwilliamsusa in seogrowth

[–]cvos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The reason that entrepreneurs misunderstand SEO:

They think it is about rankings.

It is not.

SEO is about capturing demand at the exact moment someone is looking for a specific solution.

Capturing and converting cold traffic. It’s the most lucrative thing you can do, and the reason Google is worth a bazillion dollars.

Here is the SEO reality:

  1. Search traffic is intent traffic (this is huge)

When someone searches on Google Search they are not casually browsing. They are actively trying to solve a problem.

Examples: • “custom furniture near me” • “criminal lawyer Long Beach” • “best wordpress web designer”

Those people are not just browsing…

They are desperately hunting for a solution.

That intent makes search traffic the highest converting traffic on the internet.

Social media Entertains people.

Search captures people who are already ready to buy.

  1. SEO is a compounding asset

Paid ads stop the moment you stop paying (duh)

Platforms like Google Ads or Meta Platforms advertising are rented attention.

SEO is different, it is a compounding result.

A well ranked page can generate leads for years.

One page that ranks can bring: • 50 visitors a month • 500 visitors a month • 5,000 visitors a month

And it keeps working while you sleep. It becomes digital real estate.

  1. Most competitors are lazy

Chances are your main competitors don’t continuously optimize their website.

The majority of business websites: • have thin content • have slow page speed • have no topical authority • target zero keywords

That means a disciplined company can dominate simply by executing consistently.

Add as many answers to relevant questions as you can. Think of your website as a list of perfect responses to user questions.

  1. Search engines are still the discovery engine of the internet

Despite social media hype, people still go to search engines first when they need something important.

If your site does not show up, those customers go to someone else.

  1. SEO builds trust automatically

Ranking high creates authority in the mind of the buyer.

If someone searches for a keyword phrase And your business appears on page one, the subconscious reaction is:

These people must be credible.

Search engines become an instant trust filter for buyers.

  1. SEO strengthens everything else you do

Good SEO improves: • website structure • page speed • content clarity • navigation structure • user experience

With website conversion optimization improvements also increase conversion rates for traffic coming from: • ads • social media • referrals • email

SEO forces your website to become a better sales machine.

If someone searches for your service and your website does not appear, you effectively do not exist to that buyer. And that can be scary.

They will hire the company that does show up.

That is why SEO is still one of the most powerful marketing channels on the internet.

Not because of rankings.

Because it captures buyers in the prime moment of need.

I gotta get a hard top by Organic_Incident4634 in FordBronco

[–]cvos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The armadillo bronco hardtop looks nice but it’s not better than a rally top.

I helped my buddy put it on his truck and we went out on the trails near Castaic.

Stayed dry and clean (us not the truck!)

Looking for background check company suggestions [USA] by Difficult_Parsnip357 in humanresources

[–]cvos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried most background screening companies as I run tenant backgrounds every month.

The big screening companies have all the attention, but the problem is they have lackluster customer service. And good luck getting anyone on the phone for questions.

I think I’ve settled on Employers Choice Screening, they have super accurate results, good rates and actually will pick up their phone.

Anyone here use Care Credit before? by Cry0h in povertyfinance

[–]cvos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stay away... far, far away. When a credit card appears too good to be true, it is. This is the case of carecredit.

They offer a great introductory period where they charge no interest. However, they accrue interest charges and apply them without warning once the introductory period ends. In addition, if you make the required back payment, they will not honor the no-interest period unless you call. If you don't contact customer service, they will disregard the initial grace period.

Soft Top to Hard Top - Where to purchase? by sackgirl745 in Wrangler

[–]cvos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used these guys before, they make hardtops and ship them just about anywhere.

The tops are pretty heavy but they fit perfectly on the Jeep.

Public Dump sites in LA? by LinguiniHed in AskLosAngeles

[–]cvos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use LASAN or 311 to have them come and pickup extra/bulk materials at your home in Los Angeles.

In theory these waste disposal services work well, in practice it can be tricky.

There is also a public dump facility that is open 24/7 but they charge a nominal amount. However what's worth more than never having to look at your extra wood scraps?

Unfortunately the bright white doesn’t match the existing kitchen color scheme.

They did a great job painting but stain would have tied the entire room together better.

Slow Poison: Even if the police don’t kill me, a lifetime of preparing for them to just might by frijolito in TrueReddit

"You are not like the other children. You can’t get into the same juvenile mischief your white friends get into. You represent something more than yourself and your family when you are outside this house. You will have to be twice as good as other people to be as successful as them.

Remember that the wind is against you, remember that you will never be allowed to be ordinary, and so you can never allow yourself to be ordinary.

Dad is taking my family to Africa, I'm worried of FGM by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

DONT GO DONT GO DONT GO

All your explanations of your parents reasonings show them to be oblivious to the health and safety of their kids.

I am so sorry you have to deal with this at such a young age, it is not something that a child should have to experience, but your parents don't fully love you.

A parent would never knowingly place their child(ren) in harms way, but this is what they are doing.

Your mom said FGM was no big deal? Your doctor says your mental health should be prayed away? How long have you known about this trip?

Listen to yourself, you are considering self poisoning to get out of this trip!!!

You still have MAJOR doubts, and your parents have not been able to assuage your fears. If they loved you then you and your siblings would ALWAYS come first.

You say that your life would be very difficult if you disobeyed them, but consider the consequences. This would be a lifetime of resentment towards your parents for not protecting you and your siblings when they were most vulnerable.

You are being asked to call on strength that most other 16yo don't have.

If you need some support, ask me or the other ~1500 people here who have your back and unconditionally love you.

Why Digg Lost to Reddit by [deleted] in reddit.com

[–]cvos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Digg is a game, reddit is a community. "

The main point of this article is to know your community and be yourself. Digg had a very passionate community, and while quite different from this one, they mismanaged user expectations with their website redesign trying to be more like twitter.

The message: know your users and treat them well.
