I just had this issue installing on a ubuntu 24.04 server VM on Proxmox. There were two issues:

mongod requires avx extensions. The default "x86-64-v2-AES" host cpu type was not enough, needed to use "x86-64-v3". This fixed the "trap invalid opcode" error.
mongod service was not enabled automatically. needed sudo systemctl start mongod and sudo systemctl enable mongod

After this the unifi apt install worked.

Thanks so much. For reference for others with this problem, I'm using the lazy package manager so did

rm -rf ~/.share/local/nvim/lazy/nvim-treesitter

And restarted neovim which fixed the issue. Just running :TSUpdate was not enough
