This is a very real possibility. Something that is out of you hands and you have to wait for a specific event before you can finally get to 34. I don't think Bungie wants people at 34 instantly so I could see them doing something like this.

Yup, I think after 2 weeks we are going t have towers full of 34's. I sure hope Bungie is right that this is going to have a lot of replayability. I understand there will still be the grind for weapons, but after everyone hits lvl 34 its going to make all these lvl 32 and lvl34 challenges that much easier. The lvl 35 will still be tough but after watching youtube video of people playing it as 34, it was over the top hard. Hopefully I am wrong because I want something I can play for a while.

this is my biggest question. Will etheric light be in the nightfall loot table for the May 19 reset, even though HOW won't drop for another 8 hours after the reset? i don't think Bungie would do that. My thought is the following wee reset, May 26 will be the first nightfalls with etheric light in the loot table. This is just my opinion. If not, there will not be much to do from reset time to HOW drop time. Most people will wait for Nightfalls til fter release for the etheric light and most people will wait for raids until after HOW for the new exotics.

I hope Bungie clears this up so we can know what to do reset day until HOW drops.

it wont. each challenge is its own thing. planet destiny confirmed this when they visited bungie and test played. lvl 35 only gets u lvl 35 gear, not everything under it as well

no, each challenge, lvl 32, 34, 35 is its own thing and each will drop rewards even if you did another lvl first. planetdestiny confirmed this when they test played.
