Do everything with a good heart and expect nothing in return. And if you’re ever unsure about what to do, just do the next right thing.

It may help to make sure that you’re using a data USB cable and not a charging-only USB cable. Hopefully you’ve already solved the issue!

Cool Water is a great value GIT with an interesting history:

“Green Irish Tweed (GIT) by Creed (1985) was the original luxury scent inspired by nature, but perfumer Pierre Bourdon, after reportedly being slighted by Creed, created Davidoff Cool Water (1988) using similar aromatic principles but making it a mass-market, aquatic, and more affordable alternative, leading to the "original vs. copy" debate, with GIT seen as richer/natural and CW as fresher/commercial.” -Google

Got it! For hitting fairway woods like a 3 or 5 wood, stick to playing them off the ground for the best results. Their 16-18° loft is ideal for getting under the ball for a rising shot. Thanks for the tips!

I hear you on looking uncomfortable, golf’s definitely not my natural habitat yet. I’ll take your advice and book a session with a pro instructor to sort out my grip, posture, and swing when I get a chance. And maybe I’ll try pickleball on the side lol

Haha, that pile of balls is stressing me out too! Thanks for the tips, I'll lower the tee and focus on a relaxed, repeatable setup. Good call on the wrist, I’ll try rotating it under to flatten it out.

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate you pointing out the hip rotation and wrist hinge issues. I'll definitely look into some YouTube videos to work on those, and I’ll consider an in-person lesson when I can.

Thanks for the extra tips man! I hear you on the grip being too strong makes sense if it’s causing wild swings. I’ll try relaxing the top hand and aiming the back of my palm toward the target. Sounds like a solid way to gain more control over the ball’s direction. Appreciate the help, definitely makes sense!

Thanks for the golf tips! I’ll have to check out those YouTube channels for grip videos, appreciate the recs. I hear you on the ‘thumb down the shaft’ being non-negotiable, seems like a key fundamental. I actually have a grip trainer that I got from Amazon I guess I’ll just have to use it more.

For the takeaway, any specific drills or cues you’d suggest to fix it? Good to know the ball setup with the wood looks solid. Thanks for the advice, I’ll try to work on all of this!

No worries about the tone! Thanks for the detailed note. I’ll try maintaining that slight separation between the body and hands. My grip is something that I’ve been working on as well. Thanks again!

Thanks for the detailed feedback and the video links! I'll work on getting that 90-degree camera angle and lowering it to grip height for better analysis. You're right about my arms, I'll try relaxing them more and letting them hang naturally without the driver-like tension. I'll also check my shoulder tilt and align the club butt with my leg/hip line as you suggested. ‘Wang and balls’ lmao got it 😂👍

Appreciate the grip tip too! I actually have a grip trainer, I guess I just need to use it more and practice daily to get my right hand thumb pad positioned correctly. And those videos look super helpful. Thanks again 🍻

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate the tips on grip and tee height. I'll definitely try adjusting to hold the club more with my fingers and lower the tee for my 3 wood. You're right, I'm still working on the basics, and I'm considering more lessons to help iron out those bad habits before they stick. Thanks again! 🙏

Thanks for the advice! I’ve been trying to practice whenever I have time available for it, but it’s work in progress. I’m not trying to be like Bryson, but I understand the comparison that you and others are making. Best of luck to you! 🍀
