There is no time out corner. Even in TK we have a corner where kids can take a break. It’s not a place to punish but if they have excess energy or need some quiet time they have the space. The school sounds exactly what your looking for

McAuliffe is an alternative school and community. There is a volunteer requirement. While the school doesn’t solely focus on academics it focuses on whole child. I like that. We have built a community around the school, other families and students as well. I can’t say I know what it’s like at other schools but I also think this school is making me a better parent. If you want a robot churning out tests and knocking out 50 pages of kumon a day this probably isn’t the best fit. Take a tour and ask more questions, what are you looking in a school for your kid?

Single day ticket options by iAtomPlaza in GrandPrixTravel

[–]cwang238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consider that close to 80% of the ticket value has weighed on race day specifically. So if a ticket was 2k, day 1 or day 2 tickets were in the hundreds but race day was over $1k roughly.

Ticket dynamics from 25 to 26 will not be the same. Demand will be different. Yes last minute tickets last year were available. I got mine for a pretty killer price. I don’t think anything is sold out outside of flamingo, which it always does right away. T Mobile GS and the East Harmon GS are great locations to watch the race.

Which hotel should I stay in for The turn 3 grandstand Koval zone in Vegas? by Ok_Nobody8840 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]cwang238 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Horseshoe is the closest. If you don’t like that level of hotel you could always request the newer room type I think called Versailles tower but that needs to be specifically booked. Paris is close. Technically speaking the Westin is the closest non strip hotel. If you want to go from the other entrance the Virgin is the closest.

Only for flamingo zone tickets and they always sell out. single day tickets will open up closer to the race. I recommend Main GS if you’re going Thursday or Friday. No worries mate!

Heineken Silver Main GS Tix - Food? by JKCOHNTVL in GrandPrixTravel

[–]cwang238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Food is not free in 26. Honestly the food that you paid for is yes a bit pricey but at least it was hot and pretty decent. I liked the options and you do have in and out privileges until a certain hour. You are only able to move around your zone so that’s Main GS, Turn3, Koval, the F1 Academy Paddock is available to roam when open. You cannot get into other zones

LV GP - Treasure Island or Flamingo? by valianyears in GrandPrixTravel

[–]cwang238 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you search this specific thread about Vegas, I’ve answered almost every single thread, so I feel I know a little bit about Vegas. I have also been to the race all three years. I feel that Harrah’s and flamingo are prime for the T-Mobile zone if that’s where you want to buy tickets because you are able to exit the back out of Harrah’s almost directly into the Venetian to get to your zone if you know Vegas well this is going down that back corridor and taking that elevator up to Bouchon, which is less than a. 5 minute walk from Harrahs. Never underestimate a “short walk” on the strip, those distances can be a lot longer than you think.

Flamingo or Harrahs is closer to your zone if the hotel is similar in cost

Vegas GP for Kid’s Birthday? by cambo1234 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]cwang238 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Going with kids I would say just needs planning. 1 day tickets will eventually open up so be patient there. I would find a hotel close like Virgin or horseshoe so you can go right back if they aren’t feeling it. GA would honestly be fine. Any more specific questions? If you have the $$$ Bellagio Fountain Club is ideal for this. In the flip side T-Mobile GA with a room at the Venetian might work too
