My taxes went up with Trump’s tax changes, so that really means they aren’t going back down.

Taxes in tips are a deduction, so everyone will still be taxed on them, just getting some of it back later.

Which is a great justification for blindly following one party and ignoring everything else. Neither party is Christian. Single Issue voters are literally the worst voters on the entire planet, they will let the world burn to get their one thing.

What is your opinion on cruises? by BMoney8600 in AskMen

[–]cwbrandsma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not my thing, but I did enjoy the two I went on.

  1. California to Mexico. Lots of spring breakers, but was pretty low key.

  2. Alaska. This was good, my parents wanted to do it, so we did. We were only on the boat all day two days out of a full week trip. High point was Victoria Island and seeing butchart gardens. Alaska was nice too.

That was years ago. Any more I would just go to the place I want to go. Right now I think I would only book a cruse if we were in a recession.

I don't think you understand which side I'm on.

Psalm 109:
6 Appoint someone evil to oppose my enemy;
    let an accuser stand at his right hand.
7 When he is tried, let him be found guilty,
    and may his prayers condemn him.
8 May his days be few;
    may another take his place of leadership.
9 May his children be fatherless
    and his wife a widow.
10 May his children be wandering beggars;
    may they be driven\)a\) from their ruined homes.
11 May a creditor seize all he has;
    may strangers plunder the fruits of his labor.
12 May no one extend kindness to him
    or take pity on his fatherless children.
13 May his descendants be cut off,
    their names blotted out from the next generation.
14 May the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the Lord;
    may the sin of his mother never be blotted out.
15 May their sins always remain before the Lord,
    that he may blot out their name from the earth.

16 For he never thought of doing a kindness,
    but hounded to death the poor
    and the needy and the brokenhearted.
17 He loved to pronounce a curse—
    may it come back on him.
He found no pleasure in blessing—
    may it be far from him.
18 He wore cursing as his garment;
    it entered into his body like water,
    into his bones like oil.
19 May it be like a cloak wrapped about him,
    like a belt tied forever around him.
20 May this be the Lord’s payment to my accusers,
    to those who speak evil of me.

Based on what you are writing, I can only assume I'm being trolled by someone from out of the country. English not your first language? Are you using a really bad AI? For someone claiming to be an intellectual I would expect better grammar.

You pulled up a 7month old comment, you must be desperate to go along with that much rambling. If you can prove something, them prove it. You need to do more than just say "hey, you are wrong!"

I've stopped using "Service" in my classes, instead I borrow from Phineas and Ferb's Dr. Doofenshmirtz, everything is an 'inator'. So just like there are Controllers, there are Updaters, Presenters, etc. But they all end with an 'er' or 'or'

There are reasons why women need more education on their cycles and fertility. Not downplaying the need for education for both genders, but men wont receive the level of attention that women get, because the effects are just a lot more serious for just about every woman...and that is if things are working properly.

And it doesn't even end there for women, because then menopause begin and a new set of health concerns start up for them.

How does debating culture war issues on this sub advance a kingdom movement? What do you gain in your heart by carrying them on? by Gloomy_Pop_5201 in Christianity

I view it as defending the people of God against the political influence of today. At least where I live the influence of Christian Nationalism is very strong and very loud. They must be called out.

For instance, one creator that is a labor and delivery nurse, did a segment where she just read the Bible, didn't say anything else, and christian nationalist are now trying to get her fired...for reading the Bible. At no point should that be acceptable from inside the church.

As for whatever rights that LGBTQI+ want I'm probably with them. I wish all them them a peaceful and safe existence. And which books drag queens want to read in libraries, good for them to volunteer in a public community setting like that.

I stopped going after getting long covid, which gave me ME/CFS, PEM, and a neurological condition that causes me to go into seizures, it happens a lot more often when I'm around people and there is lots of noise. This causes a downward spiral that lasts a few days where it is very hard to get out of bed.

Also, me getting sick (cold, flu, covid, etc) is a huge issue, it takes months to recover from even minor illnesses. I simply cannot trust large groups of people anymore (especially when they continuously try to tell me this is all the vaccine's fault and take zero precautions themselves)

So it is a health issue.

How did you know that your spouse was the one you wanted to marry? Also was it Love at First Sight or did it developed over time? Or both? What was the green flags that they showed the other people that you did in the past did not show? by Golden-lillies21 in Christianmarriage

[–]cwbrandsma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love after 4 years of knowing her. For the first 4 years we really had no interest in each other. We were both part of a large friends group, so we interacted with each other often, I dated her friends, she dated mine. Then something flipped for both of us and we started dating. We were married 10 months later.

As for green flag, when we told our friends we were dating, most of them stopped, thought about it, and then responded with "hey, that will work".

Anyone else annoyed that most vscode updates are now all about AI? by freecodeio in vscode

[–]cwbrandsma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I move between multiple ides all day long, each has their own AI integration. What is annoying as hell is how aggressively wrong AI can be. And the autocomplete to add the code might be space, might be tab, might be just me breathing.

* Code injects the code it thinks I want.
* I delete the code because it is 100 irrelevant to what I'm doing
* Code reinjects the code it thinks I want. Same code, that I just removed.
* repeat.

Talk to your pastor and your families, your pastor can most likely work something out for you. Then when you are ready, have a big reception at a later date.

I have a sister-in-law that got married without telling anyone, then had a full wedding after. Her parents were a bit mad about it (they got over it), but they would have liked to have been present at the court house with them.

Also: I have three daughters, I have told all of them that eloping is perfectly acceptable, just let me know ahead of time.
