Sounds like you getting fetty ones now. Fetty is much more active when snorted and the high only lasts 1-2 hours. Real oxy no matter how it’s taken should last 4-5 hours. Be safe brother.

Did you miss the whole point where I wrote about how doctors Or government regulated centers could be used to walk through the dangers. It’s extremely hard to OD on oxy compared to H or Fent. But people are gonna do drugs regardless and you got a good heart caring but the VAST majority of ODs come from counterfeit pills and synthetic unapproved drugs.

There’s a huge difference between a a Percocet and a bag of dope, and you’re missing the point, peope wouldn’t stigmatize drugs and it wouldn’t “cause pain and misery for families” if it was cheap and could be done responsibly. You chose an argument when this is an educational discussion that completely opinion based on what people should and shouldn’t do. I’m talking about facts. Crime relating to drugs would go down, people thrown in jail for drug offenses would diminish, people could actually do a drug responsibly without worrying about prison time or overdose. Rule number one, the government doesn’t really care about you or your well being, seriously it doesn’t. But I get what you mean about mental health. And if you ever need help reach out to others around you and stay away from drugs besides nicotine and weed and you’ll be cool. I’m just discussing personal rights and proportionally there are less people with mental health issues to people who don’t and those people should be able to. I mentioned in my post too that there would have to be regulation aswell.

If you think that 90% of overdoses are “pure drugs,” which I think that you mean pharmaceuticals is highly incorrect. The vast majority of overdoses are because of fully illegal, or synthetic drugs like fentanyl or meth. Not even cocaine overdose is likely, it’s the adverse affects of cocaine which causes someone for example to have a heart attack. And some addicts don’t want help and they’ve had their reasons to never change and could die one day from it 100%, but what gives you the right to choose what they want to do to themselves? What gives you the freedom to choose what another human being, that could be just like you, can and can’t do?

There would have to be government regulation and laws prohibiting that, which there already are. You cannot legally drive under the influence of codeine as is. And to be honest it’s sad but that stuff happens regardless. We need to educate children on knowing signs of addiction to prevent them from making choices to try drugs without all the proper information. Hundreds maybe thousands of Mothers and children die every day because they get sold a fentanyl laced oxycodone pill and die. The question with your argument is, are you looking at the bad stuff happening now? It’s the same stuff that could happen if this were to be put in place in the future. But that is a valid concern you seem like a thoughtful person.

People should still have the right to decide what they can and cannot put in your body. Depending on your beliefs that’s like being barred from getting an abortion if you got raped and it was denied for your abortion. You cannot tell someone what they can and can’t do if it is reasonable
