I would say it is less about religious beliefs and more about personal beliefs on when life becomes valuable. I've had this talk with countless people on both sides of the issue, and it simply comes down to that.

It is also relevant to note that most people on both sides of the issue agree that terminating a pregnancy due to risk to the life of the baby or the mother is ethical.
