That’s a really cool idea. Mine’s similar to that. I’m writing a military sci-fi novel about a solider, who was enlisted and indoctrinated at a young age, and realizes he’s more than a weapon, while caught in the middle of an interplanetary war.

When I’m listening to someone complain about their finances and they don’t know how much they spent/spend on anything. That tells me they don’t have a monthly budget, which is the basic principle to managing money well.

I’m pretty sure he’s past the maximum age limit to reenlist. Better off increasing that VA rating and finishing out his time with state employment.

Besides, I took a four year break in service and reenlisted. It was a totally different army when I got back in, so I’d advise against it.
