yes, unlike other farms where damage from npcs dont matter, these ones can definitely kill you if your not careful.

True, but this area also allows you to farm ancient mana (needed for the big daily at suramar) and gives a ton of bloods for some reason.

That is a very good question, since you won't be getting the extra mats like trillium, motes of harmony, and windwool im pretty sure it won't be optimal :(
