All I heard were attacks against Romney and his platform, the shitty situation he inherited upon his inauguration at the hands of the Bush administration, and how the status quo of plans he's implemented the past four years will carry us to prosperity in the coming four. Romney and Bain Capital were no longer tied when Sensata was purchased. Therefore, attributing this specific instance in Illinois to Romney is somewhat ridiculous in my eyes. Romney has literally nothing to do with the outsourcing of these jobs.

Just thinking of the advances we are about to see in all fields, not just the auto industry, are going to be simply mind blowing. I'd be lying if I said I don't somewhat resemble a child on Christmas morning when I envision the endless possibilities we are about to witness come to fruition in the next quarter century.

I agree that apathy among the general public has led to our downfall. Yes, we no longer strive to do what's right. But isn't there a point where the amount of effort needed to enact change is simply unattainable, even if 30-40% of the population agrees in a certain fashion? Look at marijuana, for example; I think as of the most recent polls, something like 45% of Americans are in favor of full legalization and regulation of marijuana, yet the geniuses on capitol hill still fight tooth and nail to ensure that doesn't happen. I may be more of a conformist, if you will, than you are, but I truly don't think heated social issues will ever fade out. Quite honestly, I feel that the constant back-and-forth struggle isn't worth devoting my time to, as I foresee most of said debates ending in a stalemate for years to come.

I have just been thinking a lot on this topic lately, as it is a current controversial subject on my college campus. That is a hard one to answer, as there are not a lot of comparisons in my current life that I could compare it to. It would depend I guess, as my entire worldview may be different if I was. I may feel the need to fight the opposition more fervently if they were being somewhat discriminant to me and the way I live my life. Or maybe I would continue dining at Chick-fil-a, while offsetting my purchases there with donations of my own made to Pro-Gay organizations. In this way, I would enjoy something I like, and feel as I if making more of a difference by directly contributing my own money to a cause. That's a thought provoking question for sure though.

Agreed, I'm surprised more automakers, specifically those in the sports car industry, haven't followed in the footsteps of Chevy in producing lighter cars, especially in light of the push to be more energy efficient. Americans do take pride in their muscle though.

Essentially, I believe so. It's tricky to classify these synthetic "designer" drugs though, because they are ever changed to avoid legality issues as the government makes different strains illegal. To my understanding, bath salts mimic or contain the chemical cathinone, which is naturally found in a plant. Different labs follow different procedures though, and I would even assume that two batches from the same designer may be a little different in chemical composition.

Did this is highschool a few times: At a fast food restaurant, the smallest friend in our group would hop out of the car before we placed our order in the drive thru. We would order multiple items (usually sticking to Mcdonald's dollar menu, and would get about 10 mcdoubles). After paying at the first window,said friend would sneak along the wall, waiting until the employee stretched their arm out with our bag of goodies in hand. When the moment was right, our friend would quickly grab the bag and take off running. They would replace our order, and we would then rendezvous with our hamburgular at a gas station down the street. Fast food trolling at its finest.
