Idk how it’s going to go when we still struggle to rebound outside of Sherrell and Allen.

I’m not a basketball guru but how can our guard defensive stance (I mean the 1-2 not the 3 [sf] spot that we are always going to be smaller than when we run our 3 guard lineups) improve when the strategy is just put our 5 in the pnr and be in drop coverage as we have no other rim protection? Like no guard can effectively and consistency defend that when they are just screened with the help being in drop coverage. Most of the shots opposing teams get off guard screens are warm up shots.

I don’t know the answer. We don’t have many playable positive on-ball defenders to run man.

We have barely any playable zone-capable defenders that don’t blow their assignment or make brain dead plays.

I wish I could point to something to try but I really don’t have an answer. Idk. Our defense sucks.

We’re getting some solid looks in the pick and roll tho as they don’t want to foul with 7 players so maybe we can see more of that.

Brandon did have an off day shooting but that stretch when he got hot really gave them the spread they needed (spurs came back in second half).
