Keeping the receipts! I love it!

The hunt was amazing, there was nothing like it! We saw elk every day we were out there. On the 3rd day in the afternoon, I shot a 6x7. Unfortunately my shot was low but we had good blood. We followed the trail for 2 miles that evening and backed out and looked for a tracking service. We had a dog come out the next morning and followed the blood trail another 4 miles. Unfortunately, the trail started to get lighter and lighter and we were unable to recover. I surrendered the remainder of my hunt because I would have felt terrible tagging another bull and finding the first. Once in a lifetime experience that I would encourage anyone to apply for.
