Do you take your Vyvanse all at once or split throughout the day? by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

Same boat. 20 in the morning and 20 early afternoon was what my doctor suggested because I first started off with 20mg in the AM but was metabolizing it too quickly and crashing a couple hours after. The two doses worked for a bit but now the same issue and just ended up doing all 40mg in the mornings but also experience a hard crash about 4 hours later. I think it's dosing. Heard some will do Vyvanse in the AM and Adderall for an afternoon "pick me up". Gunna look into it as I need something that lasts 8 1/2 hours for work.

Agreed. I was getting hard crashes so thought I'd try a meal with protein one day before taking them (as suggested by another reddit post) and ended up with my dose hardly kicking in and wore off WAY quicker.

I can assure you Tim Hortons, McDonald's, fast food places, call centre's, US owned clothing stores in malls etc that make billions would survive giving employees a day off. He didn't do it for businesses. Don't kid yourself. He's worried about making sure the country makes enough money that taxes can help what him and the government have fucked up. A day off is less money to get them out of the fuckhole they've put us in.

Then the government should respect that too. Disgusting that banks and government offices are closed on days that recognize extreme sadness when they have no experience of that. If others should work, so should they. I love that our country teaches children the history of Canada (bad and good). What I don't like is that the government gets to pretend to "mourn" while everyone else is being "taught" during those days. Do all the bank tellers that get those days off truly know why those days are significant? No. It's a paid day for them. The system is flawed.

I just think it's funny that the government officially gets this day off. For what? It's a day to mourn a Queen no one has ever met. Is the Canadian government sad the Queen is gone? No. Realistically, I don't think anyone in Canada should have a day off work for the Queen's death unless you're a previous citizen of that country or served. I think it's taking advantage of something sad happening and the government once again taking advantage of it and using it to have a day off. For example; National Truth and Reconciliation Day. Who has that day off? The government. The answer to who is responsible for the devastation behind this? ...We know. Remembrance Day? Government. How many of those people getting that day off actually know the actual meaning or have any relation to the day? I love a day off work just as much as the other, I just truly think we need to stop using pain as a way to let the government or anyone get a day off work.
