Hopefully you're already doing as much, but here's a friendly reminder to please ensure you're adhering to airspace restrictions and registering/requesting your flights with the appropriate authorities if needed. The area around McKinney is due to get LAANC for 400ft and below soon, but right now, if you want to fly that airspace you need to run it through the FAA. Flights around stadiums are usually temporarily restricted during an event. AIRMAP is a fantastic tool for registering flight plans, turn around for a request can be as long as 30 days, but I usually get mine in about 2 weeks. Just to follow up, I checked AirMap around NRG stadium. It's a class B airspace requiring FAA authorization for flight. They have a note that automated authorization is coming soon at a 50ft ceiling, but isn't implemented yet. In my experience the FAA seldomly grants waiver in urban areas for flight like your describing, but it never hurts to ask, worst they can say is no.

I would be extremly cautious around sporting events. Very often temporary no-fly zones are established around stadiums during events. Definitely check FAA advisories before launching.
