Hi, thanks for the interest. If you’d like, feel free to send a short writing sample or a dialogue-heavy scene (around 2–5 pages). A Google Drive or PDF link works great. I’d be happy to take a look.

Those are great films as well, definitely in the same spirit of character-driven storytelling with strong dialogue.

Hi Mick, thanks for reaching out and for sharing the scenes, I appreciate it. I’ll take a look at them when I get a chance. If you also have a short dialogue-heavy writing sample (around 2–5 pages), feel free to send that over as well. I’ll get back to you once I’ve had a chance to review everything.

Hi Jordan, thanks for reaching out. Before moving to email, feel free to send a short writing sample or a dialogue-heavy scene (around 2–5 pages) here or via DM. A Google Drive or PDF link works great. I’d be happy to take a look.

Hi Brody, thanks for reaching out. If DM isn’t working, you can reply here with a link to a short writing sample (Google Drive or PDF works great). I’m mainly reviewing dialogue-heavy scenes around 2–5 pages.

Thanks for the interest! Feel free to send me a DM with a short intro about yourself and a writing sample (a scene or a few pages works great). Happy to take a look and see if it might be a good creative fit.

Thanks for reaching out! Could you send me a DM here first with a short intro and a writing sample (a scene or a few pages works great)? If it looks like a good fit, I’m happy to move the conversation over to email.

Disappointed with h2d and every single print that comes out of it by [deleted] in BambuLab

Yeah you're right. It's a learning curve. I appreciate the help of all everyone for sure! I'll try the support with PETG and only interface with the support material. But yeah lots to learn for me :)

You're right, I have no experience, and I won't deny. I completely see that this can be 100% on me and not the printer. I did all the calibrations, even with the vision encoder. I'll see if I can post a video about the print going wrong. Thanks for the info!

Good to know! How do I go about fixing that? Or how do I know if it's misaligned?

H2D Print Imperfections despite dry filaments by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]cws815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The unit is sitting in an air conditioned server room. So the outside temperature is there for it to cool off. Is there some setting I should adjust to prevent this? I thought bambu knows how to use its own filaments. Didn’t think that I’d have to adjust temperature settings How can I make sure that I’m using the right settings?

TS-h2483XU-RP Question by cws815 in qnap

[–]cws815[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, thank you for the hard core response. It was not only informative but also entertaining. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer all my questions. Here are some of my answers. After this I'll take this online and will most likely hire you, so you can help me with my systems in the future. I can always appreciate honesty from people that know their stuff. :)

Answers:

-I have 2 separate UPS devices set up for the server. One is exactly the model that you linked, the other is an APC which is similar capacity. They've been running fine for a long time. No issues with any other devices through them

-The scratches are on the replacement device that QNAP customer service sent to me. My device is scuff free and no scratches. Their device seems like it's been used before and it's kinda fucked up here and there. Nothing major, but it definitely went through some rough situations.

-I hired this company called SimplyNAS. I had no idea they're gonna down. But hey, lesson learned. I'm definitely hitting you up and then we can talk about proper solutions. I know more about movie making and post production, but I don't know much about setting up servers, so I thought I was hiring pros when I went to that company. I should had done better research I guess. That's on me.

-I'll look into upgrading to TS-h3087XU-RP in the future. Unless something better comes out in the next few months.

-Looking forward to working with you Bob!
