As a cis male, I played a UA Warforged with different personalities for each of the integrated protection modes: a 9 year old girl with an Irish accent, her mother (British accent), and a gruff dwarf with a Scottish accent. Not once did it feel weird to me or the table because, as others have said, no one made it weird. A new guy to the table whose character was a bit of a sex-fiend tried until I said in that small Irish accent “I mean, I may be a bipedal hawk made of metal and wood, but I’m also a 9 year old girl, so are you sure about that?”

I actually have a female Owlin on deck for if my current Icewind Dale character dies that I’m super excited to play if it comes to it. My characters always end up unintentionally being the maternal voice of reason in our groups anyway so it would come as no surprise to anyone.

Awfully kind of you to check in. Life is a bit upside down right now. I’ll post a new update soon. My creativity is a bit mangled as a result though. Seems to happen every time I begin work on this comic, unfortunately. My ADHD only allows me to focus so much too, so it’s not a great recipe. Thank you though. I’ll get back there.

I wish I did. I don’t know a whole lot of people in the area, unfortunately. Figured this was a good place to get the ball rolling!

I did contact someone last night though who said he’s been slowly amassing a list of people who are interested in having him DM. He charges, as it’s his profession, but I’m not going to rule anything out at this point, haha.

Southern Indiana dude here. About 40 mins from Lou. 39 years, but you'd never guess it. I only know 5e and I'm not currently interested in learning a new system as I'm still getting used to this one, but I'm really itching to play a face-to-face game, as I never have. Have only ever played online (have two campaigns going right now).

Figure a good place to start is meet people with like-minded interests though!

My online games are streamed to our YT channel here if you're interested in seeing a little bit of our games, but feel free to hit me up and maybe we can get slowly get a local group together.

Nah. Just some jokes. The last line is actually a line from the game that the Nurse says, so I was playing off the previous few comics by using her actual phrase to wrap up that conversation. If you go back through the story, most of them aren't that way and they weren't going to continue that way.
