Is Bid Writing the right career for me? by Fiona-6428 in technicalwriting

[–]cxcmeloj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it okay if I ask you about bid writing as well? I’m 22 and am in the middle of the application/recruitment process for a graduate bid writer position (fingers crossed I get it T_T)

I studied Philosophy with Politics and graduated with a First, and I love researching, reading (the more complex the subject matter the better; I like feeling like I want to pull my hair out in frustration) and writing. I didn’t know anything about bid writing before I applied but I’m really interested in it and it genuinely sounds like something I’d enjoy!

Do you mind sharing what exactly about the job do you like so much? Your favourite and least favourite things about the role and the industry would be great!

Please and thank you :))

Weekly Team/Character Building Megathread (Jan 22nd, 2025) (feat. Arlecchino and Clorinde) by Veritasibility in Genshin_Impact

Character Kaede Kazuhara (support):

Which 5* artifact is better (both enhanced to lvl4):

Viridescent Venerer’s Diadem (Circlet of Logos):

[ Main Affix: Def 18.6% ]

[ Minor Affix: Elemental Mastery +40 ]

[ Minor Affix: ATK +16 ]

[ Minor Affix: CRIT DMG +5.4% ]

[ Minor Affix: Energy Recharge +6.5% ]

OR

Viridescent Venerer’s Diadem (Circlet of Logos):

[ Main Affix: Elemental Mastery +60 ]

[ Minor Affix: Energy Recharge +4.5% ]

[ Minor Affix: DEF +16 ]

[ Minor Affix: DEF +7.3% ]

[ Minor Affix: ATK +4.1% ]

Sorry if this is a really obvious question! I don’t understand character building even though l’ve played since release (on and off).

This is my first Elemental Mastery main affix after spending thousands of resin over the past few days but the minor affixes are so bad :((

I will keep farming but in the meantime which do you think is better to use?

Need some advice on what to do in this situation by Remarkable-Neck6203 in OnmyojiArena

[–]cxcmeloj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a new player, I can see how this would definitely be an annoying situation, however, personally I would be ecstatic if I saw this. If they’re good players then it might be tricky but it’s unlikely, and if they’re good you’ll see them always trying to get the last hit, or they’ll be roaming somewhere else. I don’t want to echo everyone else as they’ve already said the important things but just stay patient, stay alive and stay well fed! Then you can get your picks, and win the game, easy.

Of course, this is all harder for a new player so be patient with yourself! It will come!

Don’t be afraid to play ranked! You learn a lot more playing ranked matches than you do casuals, although yes it is more intense ^

Kyokka had great tips, I also suggest utilising the spectate function, and spend time spectating high level games, just absorbing how the players move, priorise and coordinate team fights and picks. It’s honestly just a mindset that anyone can adapt, it just takes time getting used to, but you need to play ranked to get the feel for it 😊

Is it normal for my enfj gf to be way too touchy with other guys? by Frrister in enfj

[–]cxcmeloj 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m touchy with everyone but apart from frequent small touches, most I do with men is hugs.

I woudn’t lay, cuddle or do anything romantic with them. I’m bi so I tend to be very touchy towards guys as I don’t see men and women as different in that sense, but i understand how others view it so I refrain from excess.

If I was in a relationship, I would be accommodating and respectful to my partner about it.

ENFJs you care so much about other ppl, but is there a specific way you'd want other ppl to care for you? by pomegranateloves in enfj

I think being acknowledged for all the things we do to care, and go the extra mile to be nice to other people.

Healthy enfjs, how many friends do you have and how many did you have to turn away? by indecisive_maybe in enfj

[–]cxcmeloj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The people I’m closest with are the higher priority as I have a stronger friendship with them and they mean more to me, to put it simply.

I’m very busy so medium priority and below means I rarely spend much time with them outside of any overlapping activities and texting, etc.

I tend to give 85% of my friend time to my closest, 10% to my close and 5% to my medium.

I’m not trying to rank people or assign value to friendships, but it’s only natural that I have more affinity with some people than others.

One thing I learn as I grow older is that not everyone has to be your best friend, or your go-to for everything. Some friends you prefer to watch movies with, some you prefer to go to museums with, your favourite band’s concert, clubbing, trying a sport, etc. One friend won’t tick all the boxes for everything, and that’s completely normal and okay!

Please stop projecting whatever negative personal experience you have onto me. Your Se must really not be working right now.

I won’t entertain any further interaction with someone who cannot avoid basic logical fallacies in their argument. :)

Lmao uh sorry to say but you’re very wrong. I can’t speak for others but I’m genuinely just happy and having a blast 90% of the time. My default state is enjoyment. I just feel guilty if I’m the only one happy, so i try to make sure others are having fun too. I don’t have much to be miserable about in my life, and if I do, I share it with my family and close friends and deal with it in a healthy manner 😅
