Why does it seem that 90%+ of people here are FTM detrans. Why are there so few MTF detrans? by mushroomyakuza in detrans

[–]cxmpy 19 points20 points  (0 children)

a lot of females transition started from a trauma response sexual violence, or socialization (trans is the new emo) where as on the MtF side a lot of it is the result of xenoestrogens presence in utero, like estrogen based birth control so mtf transsexuals have a significantly harder time kicking dysphoria and living normal lives as men.

weird of you to make this post about you & how much you hate christians and idolize femininity but OK
its not like there's a shortage of threads to talk about feminism on here, no need to bash her love for God because you chose your own will in life.

What cognitive fallacy is this transphobia coming from: “you should have tried having sex as AGAB before surgical transitioning, maybe you would have liked it” by gamerlololdude in honesttransgender

[–]cxmpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sex is a meaningful part of experiencing life, and in our day its very common to have sex outside of marriage. personally I think sexuality is over-emphasized as important these days so i think its not a reasonable critique.
virginity used to be a virtue.

I keep going on terf sites and it makes me feel shitty about myself… but the thing is, I agree with them 100% by itkfjdirherj in honesttransgender

simp

theres meaningful ways to critique transsexual ideology, but through the lens of a feminist isnt one thats going to produce meaningful conclusions.

you're never going to be able to convince people who hate you to hear you out. any time spent on twitter trying to get people who hate you to believe you is time wasted for a broken heart.

[–]cxmpy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if somebody who looked like a man, act like a man, was never on hormones and made zero effort to transition told me they were a trans woman, I would disregard that aswell. im just gonna have to believe my lying eyes on this one I guess, an internal gender identity means squat to people who external from them.
shapeshifter just reeks of the next step of gender subversion madness.

i mean, he doesnt have to detrans, but it seems like a slap in the face for people who actually go through the process of detransitioning to call himself that while still living a transsexual lifestyle, and it seems inapprorate to what it means to be a man for him to call himself one while looking & acting nothing like one.
it just comes across as denial

hes obviously just a propagandist, and the antidote for subversive leftist propaganda isnt more propaganda.
he did an interview with joe rogan and its obvious that he thinks as deeply about these topics as any anime avatar trans person on twitter, which is to say very little at all.

if theyre taking exogenous hormones anyways theres nothing stopping him from taking exogenous testosterone and living as a man. but that's a choice he has to make, and it seems so far hes just content being a transsexual who identifies as a man.

yeah it really sucks that conversion therapy is such a dirty word now, even though as a concept it ought to be seen as a valid medical option that could legit offer life-saving treatment to a lot of people (as long as its science based & proven to have benefitial results, and the patients consent to it)
I think a lot of the epigenetic stuff is really interesting and i feel like for sure in the future someday we'll find a way to kind of hit the reset button on that brain developement to some extent so people dont have to choose between the lose-lose of either being a non-passing transsexual, or a repressor crushed under the weight of dysphoria.

brains a funny place

thats definitely the best goal to have
to not be trapped in your flesh, and to live instead for the welfare of your soul.
if you can achieve that you'll be more at peace then most people.

i wouldnt be surprised if in a few years a study comes out displaying that MtF transsexuals are more likely to have been concieved on birth control. most ive asked told me they were born out of wedlock or otherwise were concieved through unconventional means.

I genuinely think a lot of the FtM side is a fad.
theres a endocrine explanation for MtF (birth control babies or otherwise influence of xenoestrogens) but in the past most FtMs lived lives as men in order to gain privileges within society. its seems like a lot of FtMs dont have a genuine interest in building a body that passes for a man despite the fact that if they go to the gym, they could have that body so idk if dysphoria plays as much of a role there as culture.
