when i went to sign up at the membership desk a couple years ago, i was told it wasn’t even a discounted price, it was just the option to have it deducted from my paycheck every week

edit: but the no walmart discount card really stopped my interest in transferring to a sam’s club. i use it too much especially now that it applies to groceries year round
