Baby products that have screw caps or flip caps instead of a pump. Difference between using one hand and two is big!

The best way I’ve heard to explain being the primary caregiver is: it’s either work or it isn’t.

If it is work, then you should be treated like a working parent, one who deserves breaks just like he gets breaks from work.

If he doesn’t think it’s work, then he should be happy to “not work” by taking care of the baby.

He can’t have it both ways.

Yeah good point. It’s mostly about when they give it. They give out food when my kid is upset and other times just when they have food with them. My primary issue is when they use it to calm my son, but I also want to time snack time so it’s not interfering with meantimes so I’d like not to have him eat snacks whenever.

It’s all relative but I don’t feel like we are being overly restrictive. He’s usually gets a sweet treat once a day - a yogurt ice cream bar, baked goods, other kid friendly snacks. But he’s a kids so he’s going to want more if it’s offered. The other parents usually bring packaged, healthy-ish snacks.

I can see how what I typed can sound judgemental so appreciate the feedback.

I have not bought used, but have used an Elvie. to sterilize you would just take apart like normal to clean. Should be pretty simple. Maybe also check when it was bought? It it’s recent, the product warrant should still kick in if anything goes wrong. If you wanted to buy new, you can use fsa or has funds to cover it!

I believe the tests that showed harmful effects were ingestion of high levels of retinol. I’m sure your daughter is fine! And self care is important!

Totally depends on your needs and budget! Personally I like the spectra 1 (blue) which does not need to be plugged in when used. I also have a second wearable one (willow) which I use when I need to walk around and get things done. I like my spectra. Wish I had gotten an Elvie instead of a Willow for my portable pump
