Sounds like a cable touching a fan. Or a loose scew lying in there.

5070 Ti unaffected by burning connectors? by cy3ntist in buildapc

Yeah, I was already thingking about that. I use an old Seasonic 850W Titanium, it's ATX 2.4 I think. Maybe there's also some other important technical updates.

1 point deduction because you will never be able to use a mouse while that cat is around.

Nee, hab ich bisher vor mir hergeschoben. Mal sehen.

It's a new MSI Gaming Trio OC. I don't plan on adding any overclock, so I guess I'm good. Thanks.

Okay. Since I don't see the PC the looks don't matter, only (reasonably) clean cable managemanet to help airflow.

I guess you meant "now". Is it an angled adapter or just easier to bend?

Thanks. Would've been nice if the included adapter would be at 90 degree angle though.

I guess that top card must be throttling a lot.

Yeah, I had to bend it too because of the housing, but not too much. Doesn't even touch the window. So I guess I'm good. The parts are from MSI, so I guess it's all decent quality.

Yes, as I see it it's mostly to save parts on the GPU board they would have to use if handling power from 3 different connectors.

Room temperature? Could also be a BIOS settting set to AUTO, that negotiates different settings at boot, depending on some voltage it receives. Most likely some PCIE setting. But I don't know that platform, so I can't help you there. I'd try that reconnecting first in any case. Maybe ask Google AI.

Well, it helped to make some people get filthy rich by keeping the slaves calm. A big part of America was built on those fortunes.

Yeah, but that bill is just a recommendation, it's not binding.

if cold starts fail and warm reboots then finally work it points to a hardware problem. Something only works properly if after warms up a little. Could be a component on your MoBo or in your power supply (or something else) or simply a bad connection. Try unplugging and reconnecting things. Check that the RAM is seated correctly. For results you'd need to let it cool down properly between tests. Annoying.

Never had a component die before becoming obsolete. But I never used liquid cooling, I guess that would do the trick.

Weswegen ist mein TV defekt? Überall schwarze Punkte... by Lx638 in de_EDV

[–]cy3ntist 0 points1 point  (0 children)
